40+ years ago Andrew Ridgeley wisely walked away from fame knowing he'd made a shitload of money because of someone else. He didn't have any talent but he was young, rich & healthy.
Conor Benn is in the same boat now. If he's wise he'll enjoy the millions he's made as he isn't going to win anything of note.

Tend to agree , so realisticly what would you do if you was his manager , Benn is Benn and i doubt his ego will take a great big drop in money so who does he get that he MIGHT BEAT , if i was his manager i'd still chase and exploit , sons of the famous , think i would start with Nikita Tzu ,, then , let his brother try and avenge that one , both them will sell big in Aust and probably earn him a million plus , each one , Then i'd go round 3 with Eubank , , and if he won that one , probably finish with a crack at Brooks ,
Mind you a couple of wins over these blokes and i can just here Nigel telling the world with the new found experience his sons got , to go with the incredible talent , he's now ready for a rematch with Garcia , because he's just has if not more deluded than his son

Spike O'Sullivan had a lot to say on social media. He's over 40 and not very good, perfect comeback fight for Benn at 160 or 168. And I'm sure Spike would love the payday.

The beatable Denzel Bentley (WBO 160lbs title) or the ancient Erislandy Lara (WBA 160lbs title)? Are these guys the "most beatable" world champions to pit Benn against at 160lbs or 168ls?
Benn would also earn big paydays against domestic fighters, such as Saunders, Brook and Eubank Jr.
I don't think Zuffa will "throw the towel in" and stop working with Benn whilst there's still decent money to be made from their nepo baby.

Bentley beats the breaks off Benn. Another proper mismatch and Bentley not a big enough payday for Benn to even think of fighting him.

100% this. Denzel may be 'beatable', but not by Benn, that's for sure. He'd bully him.

We’ve had fighters completely outclassed when stepping up to elite level. Gary Locket, Michael Jennings, Kevin Lueshing, Richie Wenton, Ady Lewis, Brian Rose, Lee Purdy.
Different to Benn is they didn’t get near the money before or for the fight or near the hype - I can’t even remember if their press conferences were televised.
Not many of them did much after that fight. But Benn has had much more investment, so I think he’ll get some paydays.

Don't think he would beat a fit and healthy Liam Smith , he'd get knocke out , whats more i doubt if Eubank would take it at less than 168 now , and a nourished Eubank knocks him out has well .
The big problem for Benn is with his lifestyle and young age he probably needs a couple more fights , he would want big money and therefore needs to fight somone who can hit back , don;t think the world are gonna pay to see him beat old underweight men anymore

I purposely didn’t include Woods as he was a European Champion (beating a decent European champion) before fighting one of the greatest of all time. That’s more comparable to Minter vs Hagler.
But those above, with the greatest of respect had inflated rankings. Good fighters, but not even proven at European level. Benn is in that category.

I've never forgotten how Paul Lloyd and Richie Wenton were absolutely mauled by a prime Barrera. Never belonged in the ring with him.

The truth is, I don’t have the answer.
If you’d asked the 19 year old version of me whether I thought I’d be standing here ten years later, having lived through everything I have, I’d have told you that you were crazy.
I train hard. I sacrifice. I’ve given this game 110% every time I’ve stepped through those ropes, I’ve wanted to give people unforgettable nights and entertain.
That’s what this has always been about for me.
People spend their hard earned money to come and watch guys like us fight. I’ve never taken that for granted. I’ve always wanted to be a servant of the public and give everything I have when it matters.
But giving everything comes at a cost.
And the people who have paid that cost more than anyone are my family and my kids.
They’ve sacrificed time with their Dad so I could chase this dream. They’ve had to share me with this sport their entire lives.
So when people ask me what’s next for Conor Benn, right now the answer is simple.
Time with my kids.
Fight fans, thank you. Those who travelled to Vegas, those who stayed up until the early hours. I will never take your support for granted, especially on those nights things don’t go to plan.

This guy come out after 10 years or so. Now saying he won’t forget Benn making fun of him.
I never heard of him really.
It’s not a good look.
Some comments tell him to get over it, it’s been 10 years. He’s chasing clout etc.
Some will say it’s still wrong and he needs to apologise.
