What I've never liked about the Sky commentary is the way they go overboard when an exciting fight comes along. To me it sends out a message to the casual viewers in this country that fights like this are extremely rare, which isn't true. They might be rare for Sky but not the rest of the world.

HBO and ESPN can have commentators shouting and screaming down the microphone all they want - because they do their best to make sure the fights are highly competitive, and their fans are used to this standard.

Hopefully this apparent new wave of 50-50 showdowns on Sky will sort out the problem.

Agree, Watt & Dyke is the best team. McCory is boring and doesn't go into enough depth like Watt. Keep him in the studio on the panel.

Having just returned from attending the pressers in Manchester I can exclusively reveal that Adam Smith was filming the promo at the Ricky Hatton Gym press call but it was Ian Darke who attended the Hatton Tszyu press conference later in the week. Ian Darke turned up at the Elephant and Castle for the Symonds Minter match so he has not strayed far.

I agree with Ian's view here. I think Watt is the best analysist in the UK and Adam Smith is improving. I do prefer Smith on the domestic fights as opposed to the US fights.

He is geniunely enthusiastic for the sport, which is alot.

I can't stand Adam Smith, he is an absolute tosser, I especially hate the way he says KOSTYATTTT TTTTTSZYU. Jim Watt is pretty good though

Yeah, really annoying that. Don't know if he's trying to show his linguistic skills or whatever, but at the end of the day it's wrong since there is no 't' at the end of Kostya.

I remember many years ago when people used to complain about how Jim Watt used to pronounce Hearns.

For what it's worth I've always liked Jim Watt.

Adam Smith is a LOT better than he was but I have yet to warm to him.

Any word on who will commentate Hatton/Tszyu? If it's Smith I will probably have to turn the sound off as this will be the only way to generate an ounce of atmosphere, I just can't listen to that plank

I think Radio 5 are covering the main event if the SKY commontators don't agree with you.

I don't know which one I prefer, Smith's Kostyat Tszyu or his Osssssscar De la Hoya.
