I do agree if your talking world scene greatness, but you know most people call Barry McGuigan a great (domesitcally) he is in many peoples best of british top 10, but he did not do much more than what Hatton has ALREADY done.

Hatton's already beat anyone thatn Naz ever did IMO.

Yes quite possibly, however Naz' overall level of competition was significantly better and he was a proven world class operator for longer.

I would agree with this, but McGuigan, Eubank, and possibly Benn not so sure on.

It's hard to assess just how good Tszyu was when he lost to Hatton. We may never know as he will probably retire, but like Pedroza he was at the end of a long successful career, and probably not as hungry as his opponent.

Mcguigan went on to defend his belt, something Hatton has yet to do.

I'm with you James , Tszyu looked pretty bad in that fight, If Tszyu keeps fighting at 140-147 and beats some good fighters then Hatton's win will look good, But if he fights again and gets totally dominated it won't look like much.
I don't think Tszyu is going to retire i heard him in an interview yesterday saying that he wants to fight again. Up until the low blow in the 9th Tszyu was coming back into the fight and he believes that It was a deliberate foul by Hatton that hurt him.
If he does continue i would like to see a rematch as i think it would be a competative fight again and at least there are no excuses for Tszyu not having fought many rounds in the last few years.

Yes, Hatton deserves credit for beating a guy who was to all intents and purposes recoginised as undisputed champ, but I'll hold fire at making him an all time top 10 great until I either see him dominate some decent opposition, or Tszyu prove he has something left.

If Hatton went on to lose his title in his next fight, which seems very unlikely right now, then he would be below Honeyghan, Hamed, Benn, based on overall quality of opposition I'd place those guys ahead of him.

With regard to the low blow, It is possible that the low blow took the wind out of his sails, it's also possible that Kostya is kidding himself and making an excuse for his running out of gas. I had Kostya winning the 3rd-7th clearly.

The sad thing is, I find it hard to see Kostya getting a rematch, I don't think Warren will be keen on it, and if he does it will have to be in Manchester, where the odds will be stacked against Tszyu again.

If Hatton were to fight and beat Mayweather before anybody else does, he would surely be well up there with the best that Britain has ever produced.

I wonder the same thing about Tszyu whether or not he is kidding himself or he really was that hurt from the low blow. I would deffinentley love to see a rematch as i still think that if the lowblow wasn't invoved the last few rounds would have been interesting. Maybe after going 11 Tszyu will be fitter in a rematch or after such a hard fight he might be finished.
