I think Khan needs to be handled carefully for a bit yet. He's only 18/19 which is easy to forget and had no senior amatuer career pretty much other than the Olympics. If he works like hell in the gym for the next few years he will be hell to beat. I wish he wouldn't get as reckless as he does when he hurts someone, he's really got to have it hammered into him that he needs to pick his punches when he hurts someone and def keep his chin down.

Well, I was impressed it was a good debut, lots of positives even Ricky and Barry seemed genuinely enthused...power comes from speed and boy he is quick.

I seem to have watched a few Olympic debuts late night on Five by a couple of Americans and they were a lot less emphatic. Don't remember there names but it was recent...any help?

There's a big difference between Audley topping the bill from day 1 and Khan doing the same. With Harrison there was always going to be at least 1 fight on the undercard that was more exciting than his, with Khan this will never happen because of the pace he fights at. P4P it's a different class.

Obviously early days for Khan but what a fantastic shot in the arm for boxing, great occasion. And to think less than a year ago the public hadn't even heard of the lad.
