There has been all kinds of controversy with this computer scoring.
Very, very true. It's a great tool for those who are dissatisfied with any kind of scoring. Manual or computer, their boxers will always get robbed.
Like judges pressing the wrong button
And what does that have to do with anything? Judges used to mix their corners in paper scoring, too. Really doesn't have much impact on the overall score.
and for instance if a boxer throws a 5 punch combination only 2 of them might register because the button can't be pressed in sequence.
It can't? Since when? I don't have any problems pressing the button in sequence.
And what about this outclassed rule. What is it 20 points? If a fight is getting too one sided it's the referees job to step in and stop the action.
I'm not overly fond of the RSC-O rule - hoever, what AIBA wants, AIBA gets.

There are many times when one boxer is not getting hurt but just isn't able to out punch his opponent. A referee wouldn't necessarily stop a bout in that situation. But, along with headgear and computer scoring, it's here to stay.
