He hit Foreman with everything but the kitchen sink and didn't even dent him at all, then eat two big shots and was out. Foreman was slower than shit through a funnel too by then.

Moorers best win was undoubtedly over Holyfield, for which he deserves credit, but he was too small a heavyweight to ever reign for long. His power was special at LH, but at heavyweight he couldn't bang with the best in the division, his chin and defence were also less than top notch.

Winning 9 rounds doesn't mean shite if you're knocked out in the 10th, it's like leading the 400 meters coming round the bend and then coming in last.
He beat Schultz and Botha pretty bad, and both are noted as 'quality wins' on the resumes of much bigger HWs.

His problem wasn't size, it was actually towards the opposite . . .he lost discipline and gained too much weight. In the 220s he looked blubbery and later on he got even heavier. His heart was taken out of the boxing game by the Foreman embarassment.

Cooey was the only guy who really rattled Big George. Alex Stewart made a mess of his face but he was never kicking Georges arse like Moorer was.

What i meant is that Moorer was the only guy who stood right in front of George and took the play away from him. All the other guys used stick & move or ran like hell. Yeah i know Moorer paid the price in the end but it was both impressive & ballsy while it lasted.

As far as the Klitschko remark its double standards. Go onto any other boxing forum & say LL was behind on points but beat Klitschko fair & square so he is the better man and see what the reaction is. Klitschko gets major respect for losing to LL but Moorer who genuinely was WELL AHEAD of an ageing icon & legitimately kicking his arse gets disrespected for losing while ahead.

Moorer vs Mercer is a fight that I would have liked to have seen in their primes and I wouldn't mind seeing now.

Who Killed Kenny!? George Foreman!

Gerrie Cooney shook Big George up I seem to recall, not that there is too much disgrace in that, Cooney had a vicious left hook. But George also proved like he did against Lyle that he could comeback after taking a big shot.

Whilst on this subect didn't Ken Lakusta rattle Foreman briefly to?

Please!!!!!

Kenny Frankensteina!?

Agree with the points about Moorer as a light-heavy, he was absolutely savage when he opened up. Should have been a legend but sadly will hardly be remembered.

He should stay retired for sure. He has been weighin in at 250 pounds! He can go out with a nice KO win over Jirov, and that is pretty good.

He has no real future left in boxing (as a fighter). He should train guys now.
