Where´s your problem? He fights the #10 for a free mandatory. That´s fornicating normal. Other champs do this as well. It´s better than staying inactive.....
Bubi - if you can explain to me how Ashira deserves to be ranked in the world top ten of any governing body at super-middleweight, all my 'problems' disappear. I await your awesome Teutonic logic. Vorsprung durch technik.

As I stated only a couple of weeks back (maybe even less) he wasn't in the top 10 at that time.

Why did Golota appear as #10 at the WBA? If I would be Don-King-boxer I had a Top 15 ranking like Meehan got it........

Yes Bubi, but Golota was a former world title challenger and a genuine heavyweight, it's not like he was a cruiserweight who had been knocked out at the weight and then fought at heavyweight and got a title shot.
Ashira had had exactly 0 fights at Super Middle, there's no way he should have been eligble for a title shot.

How many years was Golota inactive before he faced Byrd, no way was it a deserving world title challenge, no way did he deserve a top 15 (let alone top 10) position.

No, but HE WAS A HEAVYWEIGHT WHO HAD A PEDIGREE AT THE WEIGHT.
I'm not saying he deserved a shot, he didn't, but Ashira is not even a fornicating Super Middleweight and has never fought at the weight, AND was coming off a KO loss at MIDDLEWEIGHT!

The fight was boring i thought. People were walking out after the 3rd round, some went after the Khan fight. The fight of the night was the doherty fight which i thought he nicked it on the last 2 rounds. Doherty by 1. Its the sort of fight Doherty didnt box well. but i would like to see a rematch in a year.
