Beyer pretty much outclassed Sheika: Opened a cut over his right eye with a left cross inside 2 minutes, couldn't miss him with the jab and landed booming left crosses all night long. Good boxing display from the German.

Omar kept trying though, walking forward right to the end, and ocasionly catching Marcus with a few right hands now and again. Sheika has hurt by a perfect left to the ribs in round 8, doubling over, but recovered instantly and was never in danger of being stopped.

What next for Sheika? Another world title shot no doubt. There's plenty of them about these days.

Now who should Beyer fight next? I'd have to say Eric Lucas, Lucas is the only one who REALLY REALLY beat Markus Beyer and got robbed by the Judges.

BTW, there's no fornicating way to convince those Germans to fight in the US or Canada right.

Beyer gets 1-1½mill euros per fight, so the americans just have to give him a bigger purse than that.

Seems like a decent enough win for Povetkin, TKO 4 over Fox. Koc took 7 rounds to stop him, whilst his other defeats lasted the distance.

And can anyone shed some light on cruiserweight Marco Huck? He beat Rudigar May last night by decision in only his 11th fight. (And May has been the first to last the distance with him) Is this guy good? His record certainly does

From what they showed on ARD it looked like Huck toyed with May, May was in trouble several times and was down once or twice. I will get the undercard fights from MDR later today, hope they showed the fight
