Now they getting fights on fight by fight basis. So they cherry pick best amercian fights. Also all british fights are now good ones since no promoter has exclusive deal.
Still they should show Roy Jones v Tarver, mind you the undercard not very good at mo.

It looks like Peter vs Klitchsko is live, but it has the TBC on it with regards to the channell.
Good line up of fights, thats brilliant, still a few other fights I would like to have seen (LLewllyn vs Steads for example) but cannot complain with that line up.

Hah you really do want to see this Llewellyn v Steeds fight don't you Stu. It was never going to make it onto tv as a main event though to be fair.

I think the TBC is more to do with the start time than what channel it will be on. It will be on Skysports 1 like the rest.

Apart from German boxing, what other boxing is shown and what box should i get? what kind of price should i pay for the box & installation?
Lidl are doing a receiver and dish for £60 at the moment.

Whilst Cotto vs Branco is off, Cotto is likely to defend his title on the bill according to Arum. WBO #15 (how convient) Antonio Pitalua has offered his services already.
Actually, this would be arguably more intriguing than Branco as whilst Patalua hasn't fallen short in the past (vs Grigorian) he has beaten one or two decent names like Cosme Riveria (James Hare remembers him) and Saul Duran.

The German channel picked up both of the previous Jones-Tarver fights, in fact i am sure my Jones-Tarver II card is in German. I don't think anyone here in Britain showed that.

Yeah you're right jones-tarver 2 was never shown here, the 1st fight was on bbc.
Probably take the plunge and get a sat system this week,I hope 2 dishes look alright on my wall.
Had a look at the channels and pointing the dish at astra 19.2 gets you
zdf,ard das erste & eurosport.

Yeah i will have two dishes as well but i am sure i can hang out of my window and screw it in, i was just wondering whether you need to subscribe to anything or if you just plug it in, wire it up and off you go.

I think you just plug them in and point the dish in the right direction, and your away.
I tried my two nearest Lidl stores today, and they had sold out
Shame really, I wanted to see some 'Boom Boom' action tonight (Beyer...not the porn, honest

)

Yep that's all you have to do Steve, no subscriptions, you're on your own
There are also loads of encripted channels, and you can get cards to view these - advertised in What Satellite. Also pirate cards, but I think they change the codes now and again so no guarantee how long they last for.
Channels like Canal+, Filmnet, TVN and Premiere Germany show the big American shows - all encoded.
I just watch the free to air ones - ARD and ZDF - they show any big German fights, plus RAI for Italian.

Holyfield's fight could be on RAI.
Wow!

Jones-Tarver II was shown on Premiere (Pay-TV). But they don´t show boxing live anymore..... :( :( :(
so we only can watch live bouts on ZDF or ARD when a Sauerland or Universum fighter is involved. What a mess.
