:box: C'Mon Scott :box:

In all seriousness though, regional bias aside, I happen to think Scott is still pretty underrated in british boxing. If Scott got another crack at Eastman, I think he'd really give him problems, and outwork him to win. We've seen he has the power to trouble eastman, and I think he'd make it count more in a return fight.... Scott has improved dramatically since the first bout.

After the Elcock fight, I'd like to see scott fight Williams, who I also think he'd beat.... then someone like Joval, Hakkar... before looking at the guys like Sturm, Abrahams etc. I honestly believe Scott could get to a European Title, and possibly fringe world class.

Scott is a different fighter now to the one that fought Eastman. I was in Nottingham for that one, and that performance was typical of Scott at the time. He was far too open and easy to catch. I dunno whether he thought his power would carry him through everything, or what. I watched him in his comeback against Kresnik Quato, and I had a sinking feeling that the defeat hadn't taught Scott anything, but against Thornton, Bendall and Jones Scott has looked much more compact and difficult to hit. He's had a look at his opponents and, in the Bendall fight, broken them down without taking silly shots.

A rematch with Eastman would be interesting. I don't think Scott's ever going to be the iron-jawed tough-guy type, and Eastman could certainly hurt him, but if he stuck to his boxing, kept his defence tight and concentrated for 12 rounds, I think he'd outwork Eastman. This fight against Elcock will be interesting because, whether you think Wayne's chinny or not (I don't, BTW) he's a good offensive fighter who can box and punch.

I really think Dann will cold cock Elcock pretty early.
