I think overall that Cotto's performance was far more controlled. Witter looked great early on, but then almost lost the fight in the second half despite the knockdowns.
Witter would have a chance early in the fight, but if he ran out of gas like he did against N'dou and Kotelnik, I think Cotto would really take him apart.

Witter is in line for a WBC title fight probably for the vacant title if Mayweather moves up, I'd much rather he did that than challenge for the WBO belt and the meaningless mandatories that go with it.

If Witter fights like he fought against Kotelnik he will get fucked upside down by Cotto, I've seen Witter fighter better before, but I am beginning to wonder if he's not on the slide, either mentally or physically. Witter's recent performances have been worrying, the sudden slump against N'dou, and the frankly awful performance against Kotelnik. If Kotelnik had had more of a pop, Witter could have been in serious trouble in that fight, as he looked absolutely shattered over the last 3rd.
he s slid down to british title level, wont do much for his wbc asspirations.
