Agreed, Tszyu is a harder puncher with single shots, but Judah's speed would mean he would land a lot more. Hatton has a good chin as he's proved a few times, despite the knockdown against Magee, but it's one thing taking single flush shots you see coming, and getting your noggin rattled by 3-4 punches out of the blue at a time.

Speed kills, and that is what makes it hard for Hatton.

Has to be said though, Hatton has faster hands and even faster feet than he is given credit for.

Agreed. Hatton's movement may be less obvious than the likes of Mayweather, who use their feet to get themselves out of range, as opposed to Hatton who's always looking to get to the inside, but he's definately a bit underrated. You could see Tszyu was struggling with just how quickly Hatton closed the gap and got on top of him.

Agreed, no way would Hatton plod after anyone in the ring and whether it's Mayweather or Judah there will be time where he has them on the ropes and is able to pound away at them, but as James said, whereas with Tszyu he was being hit once on the way in by a static target, with Judah he is going to be rushing somebody moving backwards and throwing very fast combinations.

Hatton's short reach, stocky frame and lack of 1 punch power would be a serious hindrance in my opinion at Welterweight. It might only be 7 lbs, but that can make a huge difference.

He would be weighing in against guys who weigh 154 come fight night whereas right now he normally is the bigger man on the night, he was bigger than Tszyu come fight night, that would not be the case any more and that could have a big impact.

Hatton might KO Judah, but it wouldn't be with one shot, and he would have to take some back, might stop him late on but it wouldn't be all one way traffic

Hatton was a Welterweight at amatuer though and did a few Welterweight fights at the beginning of his pro career though. Hatton weighs about 154 fight night too though.

Judah was only about 156 on fight night of Judah Spinks 1 according to Boxing Monthly.

When people say there not natural Welters or Light Welters though they ain;t because they only weigh that much at the scales and when they fight there naturally bigger, only theHeavyweights don't lose water weight to make weight usually.

good thing the belt wouldnt be on the line, judah would MESS HIM UP! i wanna see pbf vs. judah i think that would be an unbeleivable fight, and i beleive their both better then ricky hatton.

Yes but if Hatton hit Judah on the chin, it might cause a few problems don't you think? I'm sure you thought Tszyu was better than Hatton as well.....
