Good point on the Hatton fans, I live just south of Manchester and get to go to a lot of Hatton's fights, brilliant atmosphere but too many idiots who don't know what they're on about - "Is that Gomez" was a comment I heard once when David Barnes was fighting!! and you always get the typical Knob-head telling you how he'd be a World Champ if it wasn't for his bad wrist - yeah of course mate.jamesmcdonnell wrote:York Hall crowd tends to be knowledgable, though depends on whether you have a fighter with a big following.
Most of Hatton's fans are Man city boys on the piss, or certainly that's the impression I got from the Arena. It wasn't the most pleasant crowd I've ever seen.
I think Witter will be too much for Lynes but it should be a decent fight while it lasts.
I didn't know Richard Williams was on the undercard, I like watching him and hadn't heard much about him for a few months.
