Yeah Clubber Lang is going to be a commentator in the movie.

I think Stallone has been an excelletn actor in some movies, First Blood, Rocky I and II and Copland spring to mind.

Why don't you kill yourself. Or at least why don't you fornicate off back to the Current Scene or whereever you came from. You never have anything of interest to say.

C'mon guys, Sly's no Al Pacino, but nevertheless his movies are entertaining, I mean who didn't enjoy Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot :D

I'll watch the first 20 minutes or so to see what it's all about... Then the last 20 minutes

Everyone knows the only good parts of the films were the training and the fight itself :TU:

Come on Stallone - you know it makes sense!

I think Stallone should have his ear bitten off, and the Champion should eat his children, Praise be to Allah!

I think you have a point!

Maybe he can get caught doing drugs as well!

I've heard that Rocky's wife, Adrian, dies and that Mr T. is going to be in Rocky 6, can anyone else confirm this?

For me, Rocky 3 was the best out of the lot. Clubber Lang was one mean individual, and he trained HARD and like an ANIMAL.

He beat Rocky like he stole somethnig from him.

When Clubber Lang is doing the pull-ups, the back muscles looked good. Mr T. was in great shape back then.... he must have trained so hard?

Apparently Mr T and Stallone trained together a lot for that film.

I actually heard Mr T being interviewed on BBC Radio 5 only a week ago he sounded in great spirits and as sharp as a pin.

Its funny how most people agree that Rocky 1 and 2 are the best movies yet im quite sure Rocky 3 and 4 would be everyones most watched of all the films.

Would have been good if the DVD's had more special features, maybe showing the training they did for the movies, not just the first film but for all of them, they could have made the boxset much better.

As for the new film I dont think its that clear what will happen in it, didn't Stallone originally have Rocky die in the 5th film before being told to change it.

When it does get released I am going to make sure not to read any review before seeing it.

Well said John, this clown hasn't had a decent word to say about anything since he "arrived", i've just been deleting most of his posts anyway.

Maybe Clubber Lang gets to show Adrienne the 'real man' he threatens to in Rocky 3, and humps her to death?

The first scene in the film ( according to the scripts in Sly Magazine ) is set at the cemetery one year on from her death. It has rocky and Paulie swapping memories then returning to Rocky's restaurant where his son works between college lectures.

Oh yeah, he gets off with an old flame from his childhood too

carry on

I came across the following (not my comments!).

i picked up the first few issues of Stallone's magazine SLY, and Sly includes a portion of his Rocky VI script. here's the rundown:

-Adrian is dead, from as Rocky calls it, "women's cancer," meaning its probably ovarian cancer or some form cancer in the area of the female genitalia that she dies from. so don't expect Talia Shire to show up in this film, folks.

-Rocky now owns a restaurant and regales his patrons with tales of his former glory. seeing as how Rocky was never too bright to begin with, i have a hard time seeing him as a chef in a restaurant.

-Rocky Jr. is now a fairly successful businessman, his work keeps him too busy much of the time to keep many plans. this causes friction between him and Rocky.

-Paulie's clean and sober and has a steady live-in girlfriend. i liked the drunk loser Paulie myself, but i guess times change.

-Marie, the young girl Rocky tries to give advice to in the first film, is now older, still quite heavy-set, and has a son of her own who is half-black. Rocky gives them both jobs at his restaurant.

that's pretty much the set-up of the film. there has been talk of getting Mr. T to play Clubber Lang again in a cameo role as a color-commentator for boxing matches, but who knows if that will happen. and am i the only one who recalls that Rocky got IRREVERSIBLE BRAIN DAMAGE after his fight with Drago? that's why he retired in Rocky V. it's one thing to overlook his bad eye from Rocky II, but when it's IRREVERSIBLE BRAIN DAMAGE, it's kinda hard to ignore, don't you think? i love the Rocky films, but there's only so many times you can go to that well before it runs dry. before you know it, Rocky will die from a brain hemmorhage and somehow return from the grave to fight "one last fight."

Rocky 3 and 4 are probably the most watched out of the Rocky series, but number is very over-the-top, don't you agree?

There is no way that a fighter could take the punishment Balboa takes against Ivan Drago, without the fight being stopped pronto by the referee!

As statede in a previous post, 3 is my favourite out of the lot. Apollo Creed training Rocky is great.

The gym Apollo takes them to is a proper 'old skool' boxing gym; you see the water coming out of the pipes and all sorts!

I would have number two in second place.

George Washington Duke will get him licenced - Marco Antionio Barrera is still fighting and he had a Brain operation.

The movie will not be called Rocky 6 according to reports.

I heard (a while back) that it was going to be called "Rocky 6 : Punchers chance". But, according to reuteurs it is going to be called simply "Rocky Balboa".

As Andy would say "I don't like it".
