Even if the fight was made It wouldn't happen.
Danny would claim he got lost on the way to the arena and was abducted by aliens (or boxing conditioners).

Nick i completely agree with ya. Chambers completely DISAGREE with you.

If Audley is so confident how come he avoided fighting every british heavy ranked in the top 10? How come he went over to america to fight more easy opponents because the pressure to fight someone in the UK was growing.

How come FIVE yrs after winning his gold he is yet to fight any creditible boxer from the British or European rankings?

How come every time he fights he picks an undersized heavy that hes half a foot taller than and a good 30 ibs heavier than to prod away & pick off?

And finally if his skills are 'that good' how come all his fights comprise of nothing but him throwing out prodding right jabs, the odd left (arm) punch, waiting endlessly to catch them coming in with a counter left?

His confidence is non-existant he gets wobbled by every single cruiserweight he fights and hes now 34, realises he has gone nowhere and is desperately trying to get lucky and somehow beat a genuine contender.

Audley is the complete package except for one thing: heart. He is constantly trying to avoid having to have a hard fight. He can talk all he wants, but he has not faced a legitimate guy who is genuinely gonna take him into the trenches. Danny Williams needs a big fight right now if he ever hopes to re-establish himself on the world scene.
Audley is well-known in the USA now, as his fights are being broadcast on the telly there. Danny is of course known for KO'ing Tyson and getting bashed up by Klitschko. Despite being outclassed, Danny is held in high regard there for his very brave showing, when he got up time and time again after being floored. So a contest between them is a good idea.

It's an intriguing cross-roads fight and I'm going for Audley, purely because he's fresher, has shown some form in his last two fights and has looked in great shape too. Meanwhile, I'm not sure Danny's ever going to be able to come back from the nightmare he had against Klitschko – the type of beating a fighter rarely comes back from.

All this bus-hiring malarky he pulled too, after withdrawing from the Skelton fight was just embarrassing gimmick – made him look silly – instead he should be opening the door to the press for his training sessions to show how fit he is and how ready he'd be for Skelton if Matt would give him the chance to fight for his title.

I see it going like Gary Mason v Lennox Lewis. Danny may well bring out the best in Audley – about bloody time I say.

Saying that – would like to see Danny win as I've met him many times and he's a very nice guy and when he wants to be, so talented.

His first 19 opponents have been better than virtually all the other prospects despite his injury problems.

He didn't go over to the US to fight easier opponents

, he went to the US because its the boxing Mecca and the best place to further his World title ambitions, (best sparring, best opportunities)

As you well know, the reason he hasn't progressed as quick as he would have liked is because hes had a few BIG injuries, but now hes fully fit, he's served his apprenticeship and is ready to step it up and move to the next level.

Audleys speed, skills and style will make it difficult for anybody to beat him.....as Danny is about to find out

Thats subjective drivel IMO

Harrison is that good and he knows it. His confidence is genuine and its always seemed that way to me. My money is on him knocking out his first BIG test that he's in and the second and the third and.........

Your opinions on Harrison are subjective drivel in most peoples opinions I am sure! Williams is not that good but he will more than likely knock Harrison out. If he beats Williams convincingly then I'll agree with you but I think he gets KTFO.

Rubbish, what facts? Harrison have proved pretty much nothing in 19 fights and you go on like he's the best heavyweight in the world.

Read through the Audley threads and you'll see that I back up my points with facts when possible, I don't write stuff like

Well you're about the only one who has seen that from his 19 fights, what I have seen is that he will do well to beat a top 10 fighter let alone become the best.
