Good round by round Frehieit, glad you have moved over from the Current Scene, we appreciate them more over here
Just read the Secondsout report, they interpreted it as Sahnoune was ahead in the fight and was giving Erdei a beating rounds 5-9 and Erdei staged a great come from behind win. Good to hear various perspectives of the contest.

Was the Veit fight shown? I was just wondering about the scorecards, one had it as a Veit shut-out and one had it as a draw.

They all of Erdei vs Sahnoune, 7-8 rounds of Weickemeier vs Menzer and then a couple of mins each of Veit vs Perdomo and Chagaev vs Krence.
Veit said that his performance was shit.

There are some clips from the ZDF broadcast here:

During the interviews they will show clips of the fight including the stoppage.

Heard the Veit was a little lucky with the decision. A poster who has seen lots of Veit think that Calzaghe has knocked any bit of confidence he has.
We shouldn't really be talking about Mario Sheit anyway, he was never much good. Just Brewer shot to pieces when they fought.

Just seen the stoppage on the clips, it looked a fair enough stoppage.
I was interested in the Veit match in case he might be a future opponent for Froch. It would be interesting to see how the Froch style holds up against the taller Veit.

MS forgot this mouthpiece
Its still the same, jabbing/hooking, Erdei landing more.
MS lands a good right hook
Erdei with a couple of hooks.
MS 10-9
48-47 Erdei
Really great to read it. Thank you. I have one question, though.
Even you say that Erdei landed more then how come that the round is given to MS?
For Round 7 you also write "Erdei doing better
MS not putting enough pressure on him " and you gave the round to MS.
for round 8 it is the same: "TV commentator have it for Erdei by a small margin.
Sahnoune looking tired.
Erdei landing some good punches " still, 10-10?
In my subjective opinion Erdei took all rounds until becoming really exhausted in rounds 5-6, and rounds 7-8 saw him recovering with close rounds. The latter rounds could be given to Erdei, Round 11 was also rather for Erdei, or at least 10-10.
Anyway, Erdei showed that besides his speed and technique, he has a good heart and is able to fight. He is ready for any top light heavies.
greta heart

.... forgot to mention, that Erdei put up this performance with an injured rib, a blood cloth that he collected during training a week ago and that almost caused the cancellation of the show.
see his face when Grigorjian "hugged" him in the air... tells all the story...

I write the comments during the rounds, so when I write "Erdei landing more" it could mean that he have landed more punches than Sahnoune in the first minute of the fight or it could mean that he landsmore punches in that round that he had done in the rounds before.
In round 7 (Erdei during better) I meant that his performance was better than in round 6 were he looked like he was about to be stopped, but he still wasnt as good as Sahnoune in that round.
