On another note, what did everyone think of lenny daws? I thought he was pretty impressive considering he only had eleven fights and that nasty cut to deal with.

I hadn't seen Hunter before either but I was very impressed. It was a great fight it had a touch of Marquez Vs Pacquiao about it.

Yes excellent write up Ian, thought you might be on the money with that bet, as Pickering looked all sold out in the 9th. Great heart shown by both fighters, especialy Hunter after that early disaster. That's two excellent domestic fights we've had in the last few days.

What a fight! Hunter was absolutely relentless, the guy must be in some physical condition to fight like that for 12 rounds. I think he will struggle as he moves up in class as guts and courage only take you so far but not to put a dampener on things, this was his night. The commentary was a little biased i thought towards the home fighter but i didn't even bother trying to score the fight, it was best to just go with the flow and enjoy the fight
Pickering probably deserved to lose for changing his "Brown Sugar" nickname to "King Of Sting", is he trying to rival that "Sugar Ray Clay Jones Junior" guy or something
Only kidding.
