Nah wouldn't recommend it John - same as a basic grill really, but a major pain to clean. Got one for Xmas a few years back and it's been gathering dust for the last 18 months....

I published a book on Cuba a couple of years ago and it contained a range of images by Cuban photographers.

After the book was done, one of the photographers gave me two of his archive prints as he knew my love of boxing.

One was of Teofilo Stevenson sitting in his corner during training. The other was Kid Chocolate " The Cuban Bon Bon" in full flow

They have pride of place in my flat.

Steve, I heard somewhere a few years ago that Pep has always been very free giving out signed pictures of himself, and has done for many years, so there may be hundreds of genuine ones out there. Same with Ali actually.

Use the spatula thingyyou get with it to scrape the stuff off it. :P

My favourite item is an actual WBO belt . Eubank was at a book signing a couple of tears back so I asked him to sign it - he seemed impressed - so were the other people who were watching when I walked out of the shop!

Well I suppose it's time for me to confess.

Over the years I have collected a number of mint condition original Boxing handbills I am in the process of spending a small fortune putting them in nice frames and placing the in various places around my house. They include the likes of Benn, Eubank, Bruno, Lewis, Azumah Nelson, Jose Napoles, Bugner, Dunn, Hobson, Brodie, Laing & Stacey etc Some are hanging up in my stairs but most are going in a big walk-in cupboard in my bedroom.

I also have hanging up a signed Nigel Benn glove and a picture of me shaking hands with Roberto Duran and a dedicated photo signed by The Hands Of Stone.

Also have a number of book shelves stuffed with Boxing books, videos and DVD;s etc.

In my kitchen I have a George Foreman grill, which ROCKS!!!!

Those handbills sound great. I've got a few (bought off email, stolen from shop windows in B'ham when I was a student in the early 1990s).

I bought a couple of reproduction posters of Louis-Schmeling II and Marciano-Walcott I from Lion Street Books in Hay-on-Wye (http://www.boxingstuff.com) a few years and got them framed - they look good IMO. Also got a framed reproduction poster of Ali-Norton III. Somewhere I have a fight poster from France which I liberated 3 years ago. Just can't find the bugger now.....I've got a couple of hundred boxing books in my lounge too. I've always been a bit cautious about having too much boxing stuff in case people get the wrong idea, but the boxing books are 'drowned out' by the 1000 weather books I have.

I like the idea of handbills - some look good, but they're not too big so easy to display.
