Dwight Muhammad Qawi.
Juan Carlos Gomez would take number two.
Carlos DeLeon (when he was in the mood).

Evander Holyfield in 89 or 91, it doesn't matter: Holyfield wins a unanimous decision over twelve. The fact is Holyfield-Tyson I went 11 rounds. Holyfield was on the verge of winning an easy decision.
In 1989 or 1991, Holyfield would have weighed about 203 lbs. Tyson, around 216. So 216-203 edge for Tyson. 13 pounds. The real fight? 222-215. 7 pounds. Holyfield could not man handle Tyson as much in '89 or '91 as he did in '96, but he could and WOULD still defeat Tyson in much the same fashion.

Good post, evndrbsn. But don't think that Holyfield couldn't have manhandled Tyson in '89. He sure could have. He was older than Tyson, talented and experienced, even by then. Old Holyfield just manhandled Tyson...young Holyfield manhandles Tyson and puts out a serious two-handed assault. Highlight-reel stuff.

No offence meant. I just gave my own opinion. I can see why most people loved Tyson back then. But from a purely boxing point of view he wasn't as good as people make out. Anyway opinions are what makes this forum so good! Hey Rory if it makes you feel better I'll put Tyson in my top 10!
