I thought Harrison won the fight but not a clear affair, Hussein caught him a few times with that uppercut and some good bodyshots. Harrison is too robotic and one dimensional though, if he meets a guy who can sustain a good workrate he will be screwed, Chi or John would beat him IMO.

The Knock down was a bit dodgy, Hussein punched the floor as if he was angry with himself getting caught but i have seen it a few times and cannot see a flush punch that caused it. McKenzie thought he did, "There is the right hand that caused it" he bellowed, erm...no Duke that's the follow up attack on replay

I don't know why anyone bothers asking Warren a question after the fight, all he ever says is "Well we will all sit down and discuss the options"

This is a `world title` it is supposed to be THE top level.

His last few defences he has looked there for the taking, even his last fight over Brodie showed how bad he really is, Brodie was old for the fight and is no puncher at featherweight yet more than got Scotts attention, the Brodie of old..the super bantam ...would have beaten Harrison.

There will be an excuse to vacate rather than meet Guzman who is the mandatory and am i correct in saying has to be Harrisons next fight.

Am I right that ITV announced Harrison as a Super Champion

If so, he doesn't have to fight Guzman within 120 days, so long as he fights for one of the other three world titles or he can ask to be the mandatory for Barrios. He can do this a few times to avoid fighting Guzman.

Bit funny if they have pulled out the 'Super Champion' belt at the first sign of an extremely tough mandatory.

Nedal "Skinny" Hussein (39-3) has decided to continue boxing despite losing to WBO featherweight world champion Scott Harrison (25-2-2) in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday. Scores were 116-111, 117-111 and 116-111 all in Harrison's favor. Hussein said he will only consider "meaningful" fights and will not be appearing in club fights. "They've got to mean something," he said. "I'm not going back to fight for a couple of thousand, I won't do that. I kill myself in the gym to make weight and be away from my family a couple of weeks at a time. I'm 27 and I'm getting older. It's just upsetting, I lost a world title fight because of what I didn't do, instead of what he did. I'm a different fighter when I travel, for some reason." The Australian's next fight could be a challenge for the Commonwealth featherweight title he stated. Hussein lost to Mexico's WBC jr featherweight champion Oscar Larios in 2004.

I agree with what I have bolded, but why oh why didn't he do it, if he knew he wasn't doing enough and could have done more.

It's funny with this talk of Hamed returning, I think even now if he could back down to Feather he might have a chance against the robotic static 'Real Mcoy'.

Harrison seems to be taking more and more shots just plodding forward in straight lines, surely Hamed would flatten him. Certainly would have in the past anyway....

In fairness to Scott, the reason Hussein didn't do it, was that Harrison was hurting him back when he opened up. Hussein wasn't strong enough to stand and trade, so picked his spots instead. His lack of lateral movement didn't help either.
