Do you wait until the fight is 90% certain & get seats that are a waste of time?

Or buy as soon as there on sale & get a bill that has the famous words!!

The bill on this event is subject to change

Im still looking forward to it but with a little worry in my mind, of who will actually be in the ring on the night. :o

Actualy, on recent form, yes, the best plan is to wait. And in this case it's been proved right.

And as knockout says, there's something seedy about keeping news like the Magee fight being off away from the public eye.

Was speaking to a mate about this last night, his bird bought him tickets for his brithday. He's never been to a show before. So his first show is with £100 tickets and he gets to see Skelton hump McDermott into submission, an undercard of names outclassing non-names, and a headliner which relies for quality on Danny Williams' mental state.

So frank's big heavyweight announcement was that....he might bring a heavyweight title fight over to the UK next year ( does he mean WBU? or IBO? ) for either Danny, Matt or McDermott ( cough cough )

And the SN article posted yesterday says bill includes Eamonn Magee v Takaloo for the WBU World Welterweight title...

Plus 'Mighty' Mitchell challenges for the Vacant IBF Intercontinental Super-Featherweight title against the bloke from the kebab shop round the corner.

Seems the big announcement is its a Commonwealth title for Fraudly & Williams !

Eamonn Magee seems to have been beaten up by the local WI Club after him & his Girlfreind were in there Car & confronted by the gang.

For some reason he decided to get out of the car and chalenge them. causing them to break his leg!

I guess his girlfreind got to see Magee fight even if i dont!

Lol

There will not be a legit HW title fight in this country next year, I am 90.5% sure of that! What a pants anouncement! I also saw that they are saying the Magee/Takaloo fight is still on! Odd one that!?

The only possible big heavyweight fight I can think of is Skelton Vs Brewster for the WBO. :box:

im not sure there isnt somethign more serious wrong with Barnes.

He looked seriously in trouble last time out against Okine like something was amiss.

I hope Im wrong and this is pure conjecture but i wouldnt be surprised if he retired mate.

Must have been some earth-shattering press conference!

Hi, are you serious that Eamonn has been beaten up again? What did he do this time?

I feared this card might degenerate into a farce and that is what has happened.

I usually leave it late to buy tickets, and I will not now buy a ticket for this show.

£200 ringside? - What a joke.

I'm still waiting for mine from seetickets.com, but I have seen pictures of tickets from seetickets.com for sale on e-bay so it's a bit confusing.

Seetickets just say that they are awaiting supply from the promoters but looking at the pictures it looks like they print them off themselves...hopefully soon anyway. :)

I dont trust that site to be perfectly honest , had nothing but trouble form them in the past thet reason fort this is beciaase i once tried to get tickets for an event and the bastards accepted the money and everything claimed the transactiuon had gone through then 2 weeks later claimed that i never purchased them and said that they had sold out. I promptly scanned the document i sent and got a refund , but it left me with a sour taste.

I trust ticketmaster and thats it.

:TU:

Just got an e-mail off them saying that they are sending mine out today.

Only two fights have been cancelled since I ordered them, so not too bad I suppose :box:. I was only going for Harrison Vs Williams anyway, but I reckon the Minter fight should be a good one.

Out of interest, if this happens but the bill still goes ahead, can fans get a refund? Or is it one of those grey areas where it's up to the promoter?
