The undercard looks impessive now but it will completely different come fight time and when all the tickets are sold. Enzo V Nelson will be off, the main even itself will be hanging by a thread and the rest of the bunch will be fighting TBA's...mark my words

If you go to BBC sport and go to the boxing main page, in the photo of Lacy and sicknote that links to the article, they're wearing judges wigs as well as santa costumes. WTF?!?! Don't suppose it's a stroke of biting satire to highlight the Warren/Hatton legal dispute

THe undercard doesn't look that good to me, someone who doesn't deserve a title shots and a load of warren fighters KOing Turkeys. If King had a similar event he would have top rated fights on the undercard. It would make sence for Warren to try to get Skelton an outing against someone good on the European scene in chiefe support, HWs attrackt interests and then maybe some of the americans would be interested in seeing Skelton get a good pay day in the US befor he reaches 78

Where do you rate the IBO Belt in the bigger scheme of things, above the WBO or below?
And yes the bill is called 'Judgement Day' and the press conference was held at Browns Restaraunt in Covent Garden in the Courtroom.

I like the IBO blet because the rankings are fair and therefore it can't be controled by promoters as the WBO certainly can. However promoters like that less so the caliber of fighters who hold it is lesser.

It will always be below the WBO, tad unfair - IBO does seem to be fair, and fair do's a lot of the fighters keep the belt.
They had some strange title fights in their past though - Chris Barnett challenging for the title?
Naseem Hamed 1 fight after losing to Barrera for the vacant IBO title?

So was his fight against barrera. More realisticaly his first fight back was for the European title though as he was against the European champion. Lewis kept the IBO for a while if I remember correctly aswell

IBO wins hands down in terms of rankings and uncorruptability. Helped recently by Lacy, Tarver, Marquez pickking up their belt. Whilst it may be by default, they at least havn't thrown them away. (Back on the ratings front - WBO have Michael Jennnings at #1
) With the IBO the rankings are objective and they enforce a top #30 challenger stipulation, so there's no Evans Ashira's slipping into the top #15 and magically getting a fight with sicknote.
BTW, some intelligent chap has been attempting some marvellous discussions in the IBO's website forum. Worth a look, I found what he said incredibly profound.

The IBO belt is a crock of shite - the last thing boxing needed was another belt - fair ratings or not. Have they ever staged a big fight that wasn't going to happen anyway, regardless of IBO "sanctioning" or not?
I doubt it.
They're all rubbish - but four main rubbish belts are a 100 times better than 5 rubbish belts............or 6,7,8 etc etc

I agree, their rankings might be unbiased, but their title fights are a fornicating farce and it just creates another trinket for 'WORLD TITLE SHOWDOWN' on crappy boxing shows.

Better off just watching it for free on ITV.
Wonder if the hand injury and all the talk afterwards between both sides was just for publicity to sell the fight.

EBU title wasn't on the line, IBO title was. Can you remember Hamed telling the ignorant (his words, not mine) fans that he is a world champion.... again.
