Good Luck, another good name on the record.

I would appreciate it if you posted on here afterwards who you thought put up the best performance against you out of Khan, Johanneson, Murray, Mitchell, Burns, Rees and Morris (or other). :box: :TU:

We'll see how wrong I am after the fight. This reminds me of Willaims Klitschko. People were writing lengthy posts about how Danny would win but I said he would be Ko'd in one round. People laughed me off the board.

They weren't laughing 30 seconds into the fight.

Thorpe will be blasted around the ring and splattered on the canvas.

I wish him luck though, he will need it.

Thorpe has a better chin than people give him credit for..... Coupled with the fact that Khan is not a 'puncher' , i dont think he hurt Gethin or Carey - both men who have been knocked out.

Thope may not win - Now he fights to win , it should be intresting to see how Khan responds to someone that actually wants to fight.

Tom Podmore.

Your opinions are fair enough Lirva but maybe you could show a bit more respect for a professional like Daniel Thorpe who has even come on and posted on the forum and seems like a decent bloke. Saying he will be "splattered on the canvas" is just disrespectful talk IMO.

I'm not going to kiss his ass. He should be able to take criticism. I hope I have lit a fire up his ass so he goes on to KO Khan and tell me how stupid I am in the post fight interview.

Unfortunately that won't happen.

Thorpe is good enough to extend Khan the full course.

Good luck mate.

I am not sold on Khan's power either. He throws a lot of shots prompting referees to stop fights, but he doesn't look to have concussive power yet at all.
Indeed, the only indication of his power was him scoring the only knockdown (knockout) in the olympics. I suppose we shouldn't forget he's only 19, im sure the power will develop further.

His wins to losses ratio is pretty poor, but have never actually seen him fight. I am understood that he is more competitive then the numbers suggest. Though is it possible he is being too active if he only fought last week?

Hopefully Khan should win this easily.
