I don't think Ricky and Alex met as amatuers, but I may be wrong, would be interested to find out if I'm correct or not, I'll ask Ricky the next time I see him. You do have good points to make regarding the fight but I do feel it will be closer than some people think, Ricky has a fair chance. Kev Anderson did have a defence of his commonwealth title lined up in Dec but the show was cancelled the day of the weigh-in after we learned his opponent from Ghana had a dodgy blood disorder. He should be fighting in early March hopefully. Regarding the Okine fight with Ali Nuumembe I think Okine will win it. Okine can take a good shot and is a slick fighter who can fight forward or backward so he gets the nod from me but not by much, Ali Nuumembe is a tough wee guy but think he will get out boxed, but it should be a good one though. If I'm right Kev could be fighting Okine again.

I THINK ALI WILL BEAT OKINE IN A GOOD MATCH UP AND SHOW OF BOXING BUT I THINK IT WILL BE A 50-50 BETWEEN KEV V ALI

You could be right about Okine and Nuumembe, time will tell, but I think Okine is a bit too clever. I don't think Ali has the style to beat him, you have to fight at a really good pace with good tactics to beat this guy, not sure Ali has the game to win, but we'll see. Obviously I'm going to go for Anderson to beat Ali, and a bit easier than he beat Okine..
Didn't think Ricky and Alex met as amatuers, but looking forward to their fight that's for sure. I'm going with MTG, think Ricky could pull off an upset. I've never seen a bad fighter coming out of the Barn under the guidance of Rab Bannon, top caoch and top guy.

For me Ali will win against Okine. I also think that Ali will beat Anderson. ali has really improved in recent months and seems to be hitting really hard , im looking forward to Ali-Okine.

Interesting to see Chris Barnett back again, i remember him fighting James Armah i think a while back? Gave him a good scrap and showed some good skills.

Chris Barnett is one of my favourite fighters - we need more of his type around. Probably not quite domestic title winning class, but could give anyone even up to European level one or two arguments.

His fight was Hibbert was a great small hall fight.

Guys like him, Hibbert, Showgun Logan, Scott Dixon and other of around this sort of level are missing in the sport.

Good fight for anyone - good little comeback fight for Dean actually.

Chado, it doesn't bother me one way or another who wins the Okine v Ali fight, they are both good fighters with different styles, but in my opinion Anderson beats the both of them anyway. Obviously your going for Ali cause he's your man, fair enough. But lets wait and see if he can get past Okine first, Anderson has passed the first acid test, time for Ali to do the same. I know it doesn't really make a difference but Ali drew with Barnes, Barnes got pumped against Okine, and Okine gets beat by Anderson, so lets wait and see how the Okine vs Ali fight goes. I've seen Ali a few times and know what he's about, good fighter, but I've seen Okine up close and he's a good operator. Ali deserves some good luck given his pretty horrific past, but don't think it'll be against my man. Must say looking forward to it though, all the best for the fight.

Anderson and Ali are both improving, Anderson proved alot of doubters wrong with his win over Okine, me included.
Ali has been improving since his draw with Barnes, he looks like he's putting his punches together better now, and has a high confidence in his own ability, and both boxers have great desire.

As it stands i'd say a fight between Anderson and Ali is 50/50, we will know more about Ali after the Okine fight

i will tell you all something and you can believe it or not , i know arthur from when i used to box he has been schooled all his days (the same when he was an amature) ,he has fought NO ONE ( a bit like harrison) and now that he relises how good an opponent ricky burns is he has nothing but respect for him saying that he believes that he is the best up and coming young scottish boxer ( incase he gets beat). he said this because they have sparred with each other and he knows how good he is. then we have ricky burns .......the same ricky burns that gets 3 and 4 weeks notice of fights doesnt get treated with any respect from his own promoter ( cause he is a w4nk) told after he has been told he has a fight that it is now off then 1 week later the fight seems to be back on again. now tell me a boxer that can prepare propperly for a fight when this is the way it happens........ i will tell you martin watson and ricky burns, and this isnt just a one off this is the way they it happens for every fight for them all because their faces dont fit . the sport disscusts me , its is out of order that someone trying to make a living has to face these hurdles as if the sport isnt hard enough. you now know what i mean when i say that arthur and harrison have been schooled all their days because tTHIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO THEM. there i one thing for certain when ricky beats him he wont wont a rematch because he is scared of rematches gomez found him out there.
