If there's a better perfomance by a british fighter in the last 20 years I want to see it.

That was the absolute nuts performance.

Joe I'm sorry, I was wrong.[/quote]

I would put that second only to Lloyd Honeghan wiping the floor with Don Curry, that was Sept 86 so just scrapes into the last 20yrs.

I agree that eclipses Hattons victory over Zoo because after all Zoo was old and been very inactive, where as lacy is young and been very active..and Joe just won every second of every round...no contest

I had thought Joe was there for the taking because of his last few defences but that clearly shows he has got more than enough left to dominate any of the names on the scene at the moment.

I'm still on a high today. Calzaghe just shocked me. After all those defences where he just looked uninterested, he does it again. Reminds me of the Sheika fight. US contender, the next big thing despite the loss to Tony Booth, American media hype him up etc...and he was bashed up in five rounds. Joe never let him get into that fight either.
Shows what a truly great fighter he is. You fight according to the level of opposition. When it's time to step up, he does it in emphatic style.
