Jeff Lacy fought beyond the call of duty and lost bravely to one of the words elite fighters.

Threads like this are uncalled for. No way is Lacy a fraud. He might not be as good as people were hyping him up to be, but he showed a huge amount of courage - something Harrison has never shown once in his career.

Z Force is a shameful, yellow bellied, spineless wimp, who is scared of being hit. Lacy for all his faults, took his lumps & kept trying. Yes, he is terribly lacking in boxing improvisation skills, but at least he is not a tin man.

Harrison is a tin man, a total fraud & should hang his head in shame & not disgrace the sport of boxing with his presence in the ring again.

Lacy showed the balls we all know Audley doesn't have. Lacy is a different class to Faudley. Fought away from home, and has nothing to be ashamed of. Showed the heart of a champion to stay up.
Lacy is what Lacy is. His game can always be outdone by someone who can avoid being hit by his bombs and is quick enough to put attacks together too.
From round 3 his corner were advising him to get the hooks working, claiming JC would run oout of steam. At first, I thought it was bad advise, but then I realised.....what else can Lacy do?

i remember goz from the boxing monthly days, leave him alone ya big gay.

i respect all pro fighters and that sadly includes audley harrison and junior witter.

however, lacy was a proven quality fighter with a world title belt round his waist.

Jeff Lacy is no fraud, he's an excellent fighter, AND that's what makes Joe Calzaghe's nearly perfect performance so remarkable. Any attempt to claim Lacy was really overrated, hyped etc, is just an unconscious attempt to cheapen Calzaghe's masterpiece.

Dont compare Lacy to Audley.

At least Jeff came to fight, he showed a lot of heart, it was just Joe was vastly superior in every department.

Lacy has a very good chin too. He was just outclassed.

As for Audley, he's just a complete tosser, who should not be allowed in a ring again.

What planet are you on Croydon? Lacy showed immense courage on Sat night to take what he did for 12 rounds. He was just shown to be technically limited by Joe Calzaghe, but no way is he a fraud.
