Barrera v Lloyd was one of the worst i've seen, which one of his managment thought he stood a chance? Didn't help Lloyd that it was in this country and alot of his supporters watched it.

Yes I was going to say that. In his book Watson claims that a pre fight injury forced him to fight a different fight to the one he wanted to, but I just don't think he had the tools to beat McCallum, who at that time, may well have been the best middleweight in the world.

I grew up watching Holligan fights late night on ITV. I thought he was awesome against the likes of Tony Ekubia (their first fight was a classic) and Tony McKenzie, but his beating at the hands of Chavez showed the gulf between domestic/European and true world class.

Stevens is like 5-9 if I remember, really short and stocky, but very well built, and Codrington was the exact same height, maybe .5 inch shorter than Green (6-2). Codrington just fought from a lower stance at the beginning of that fight, and Green started the fight by throwing an overhand right down on Codrington that missed. Codrington actually got Green pretty well with a right coming up, right before Green drilled Jaidon with the left that sent him downhill.

how about Foreman/Ali, I know George was already established and had been in against Frazier but there is an element of man against boy in this one.

recently rewatched Herol Graham Vs Rod Douglas

Although the fight went on until the 9th, it was such a one sided affair that I thnk it counts.

A great shame what happened to Douglas during/after the fight but it was a master class from Bomber
