In addition to which, he's number one for Mayweather's and Cotto's belts. Yet he's not been looking for those either.

Not sure why this should be. Confidence been knocked?

Witter's quality but he spoils so much of his work by switching stance for no reason. It upsets his own rhythm more than his opponent's and tires him out (seemingly). Southpaw with the ability to box a few spurts as orthodox has to be more effective in terms of building his own rhythm, helping him maintian balance and speed, and letting him get those strong shots off.
Its ameteurish he doesn't conserve energy, and considering his stamina he needs to conserve it.

I think he knows he won't get Hatton and has been waiting for the WBC. But maybe his confidence has been knocked who knows?

I remember the Lauri fight well - Lauri froze very badly and Witter did as he pleased, and looked the business in doing so.

I remember the Lauri corner going berzerk at him after the fight - If Lauri turns up with the same mind set, then this is no problem for Witter.

Even if Lauri turns up with the right mind set i'd be shocked if Witter lost this one.

Although travelling to Italy is always a big risk.

i'm just waiting for the moment witter takes a straight right hand as he reaches the point of being dead square-on to his opponent during one of his switches, which he will do one day.
