Fact is that Audely is a boxer... he has his faults and is yet to prove that he can be a world class pro but that doesnt mean he's not a boxer... its not as if he was overwhelmed by Williams and Guinn... the fact that he fought in such a manner yet both fights were still close should tell you that there is talent within Audely... its just a question of whether he can get past his mental hangups...Eric Cantona wrote:I don't hate Harrison, I just don't like loudmouth fighters who don't back up their boasts.silkov wrote:4 Rounders!!! you serious??.... what would he learn from them?. I can understand how people are dissapointed with Audely but I find the level of outright hatred towards him from some people hard to understand... at the end of the day I'd like to see him succeed because heavyweight boxing is at such a low now it needs all the talent it can find... and the fact is that Audely is still one of the most talented heavies out there...
I was only being facetious about 4 rounders (although his stamina is probably only good for 4 rounders), but you can see where I am coming from.
He's been a pro for almost SIX years & done precisely NOTHING.
He finally steps up in class & shows all the fortitude & heart of Mr Jelly; what's worse, it was against a man he had been ridiculing for years!
There are far better fighters than Harrison who haven't had the breaks that you want us all to give Harrison.
He's made himself a millionaire out of boxing & frankly, he is not a boxer.
He's had almost 6 years worth of breaks & I for one have had enough of the man.
He needs to seek alternative employment.
