With Hatton's face you can't look good at any weight.

Pundit! And after all the drooling you've done over Sven Ottke... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Sven Ottke - devastating one-punch knockout power.

I guess he went into boxing as he had literally nothing to lose.

Hatton is gonna rely on hooks rather than straight punches in this fight and that will be his undoing.

Collazo has good feet and peppers away all night, jab jab, cross, step to the side and cover up.

Collazo by UD

Same as Hoko v Vargas only on points unless Rickys face busts up.

We all know that lifting weights doesn't equate to much neccesarily in boxing, but he's been upping the weights he can lift. I don't know if the figures are impressive, but he's been bench pressing 120kgm, and shoulder pressing 105kg, which seems pretty good for someone weighing only 147 lbs.
Techinically though doesn't he go into the ring weighing a little over 11 stone dehydrating his body like most fighters? So really he's heavier than 147 on there.

Where did youfind out he lifts that much?Impressive though.

Hatton's site only shows him doing weights on his legs normally.

Think Vargas was better than Collazo and Hatton better than Hokko (great fighter that he was) though.

Yes, Collazo is the bigger man - but I'm not sure he is the stronger man - Vargas was vs Hokko. Hokko couldn't walk through Vargas, but Hatton could do Collazo.

Cuts could be a serious issue though.

Ricky has stated before that come fight night he weighs 154. In his interview, he said that actually coming in under weight at 147 is just as hard, as he has added 5lbs of solid muscle. He's currently 7 lbs over 147, but I guess the difference is that there's less water weight and more muscle tissue.

Where did youfind out he lifts that much?Impressive though.

What time is Hatton actually fighting???
I would also want to know approx what time Hattons fight is kicking off as I will be fishing and will set my alarm to listen to it on the radio! It is usually about 2-2:30 on the east coast isn't it?

Yes, expect Hatton to be in the ring shortly after 2am UK time (9pm local time Boston).

Hatton is looking in great shape and is a very strong man for his weight. Bloody annoying when someone is a genetic freak!
No probs mate, better than trying to figure out the Spud/Pepsi/Boxingchat/Livra fiasco on other strands.

Shamless self-publicity I know but I had a great experience in this guys gym:

Let's remember that on the night this should be sport, not a cut-throat heartless business, and hope for a good fight on the night...

...and a win for Hatton to set-up that Floyd fight off course. Who wouldn't want to see them two fight? One of the most attractive fights in the world today. :box:
Our era's Duran v Leonard...hopefully, although could turn out more Leonard v Dave Boy Green.

Graham looks rough as a badger. He's lost a lot of weight I reckon. What's the story?

Dose anyone think that carrying that much more muscle (which he seems to be doing), will slow him down at all? Not realy an expert ut I would have thought carrying it mite

He's not so big that it will affect him much, he hasn't done a Shane Mosley, also depends how much flexibility work he has done.

Also, I have personally seen Collazo three times and he is not a bum, but only just the right side of being one. Hatton willl beat him without a doubt.

Personally, I hope Hatton looks shite and get's beat but it's unlikely unless the beer catches up with him. That will happen one day but not this day.Hatton in five but really who cares.

You have really got it bad!!
how many times did you slag Ricky off when he was making your boss all that money?

Hatton looks brilliant and he has a heart like a bull. :TU: I like such boxers who are genuine and who are not just handsome businsessmen in gloves like Chicken de la Tortilla-Kournikova. Ricky would this lady eat for breakfast....

GO Ricky KO 6 :box:
