And I honestly don't think that Tyson ever ducked Holyfield... Tyson fought him twice when he was past his best.
Actually, the more I think of it Tyson did not duck anybody...
Then it's time to get back to thinkin'. Or perhaps think even less. Cuz that aint neccesarily so.

I think it was King more than Tyson, but he was supposed to get a shot right after Dokes.

Holyfield you mean? Back in the late 80s? Was Holyfield even a top contender back then?
I know he moved up in weight after becoming unifed Cruiserweight Champion but did he move in to the Heavyweight Division and immmeditaely become a top contender?

Maybe he didn't duck them, but Mike never really wanted any part of guys like Holy and Foreman. By doing this, he incidently gave Saad a reason to jackoff for many years and brought torns and twists in G.I.'s life for as many.

Yes, he fought Dokes in an eliminator. The winner was supposed to get the next shot at Tyson. He was #1 across the board after that fight. It's not like it was forever, but Mike fought Williams and then Douglas. Though they had agreed to fight Holyfield when he lost to Buster.
