I really hope so - Hatton would give him as hard a fight as anyone could I reckon.
Hopefuklly Gary Shaw can be tempted into letting Hatton face off against Corrales.
Shaw was badly embarrassed by the Lacy performance, after he himself ran his mouth off in the run up to the fight. I hope he can be pursuaded into looking for revenge over another 'limey'!

Hatton v Corralles would do HUGE business I think, their fighting styles alone virtually guarantee a great fight. I think Hatton would probably prove too strong, especially at 147, but he would take some licks and big ones too.
As you say Terrence, Hatton needs to start using his skills agains instead of wading in just looking for the big shot, which is what he seems to have done in his last 3 fights. It worked against Tszyu, but that doesn't mean it's the best tactic for every fight. He walked into shots against Maussa and Collazo that he could have avoided by using better footwork. Maussa especially he made very hard work of.

After listening to Billy Graham give his concerns and disapproval of Ricky fighting at 147lbs, I'm surprised Hatton is staying at the weight!
Many are talking about a proposed Hatton-Mayweather showdown, no both are Welterweight, but Hatton-Cotto @ 147lbs is also very appealing, yes?
Boy, with Ricky staying at 147, do you think we will ever see Hatton-Magarito? IMO, very, very unlikely!

I think Margarito would decapitate Hatton, he's too big and too powerful, not a fight that I would make for Hatton.

I guess I'm in a minority of one here but i think the Cotto fight is by no means a forgone conclusion for Hatton in the sense of winning. According to another thread on here Malignani's people are complaining about the weigh in time as they say Cotto will be at least 160 on the night. He looks a very strong guy to me, and that is not conducive to the way Ricky has been fighting since Tszyu. He is also very economical with punches and accurate to boot. I hope i'm wrong but i see it ending in tears for R.H. I'd prefer him to go against Mayweathers skills instead of Cotto's power at 140 or 147.

I agree.
I regard Margarito as World Welterweight Champion
