Had Skelton winning anyway but with Williams at over 20st I see big Matt stopping him before rnd8 - Definately, definately a Skelton win - Going on to a fight with the beast from the east is another matter, neither of them could come out on top there

With that sort of analysis I just hope you're not in Dannys corner... Danny should win, he's the far superior boxer talent wise, the problem is he's weighing in like a sumo wrestler these days and can only fight for 30 seconds of a round... that maybe good enough against the likes of Audely and he came through in the first Skelton fight but coming in at over 20 stone for the rematch is not going to help him one bit and anyone who thinks it will doesnt know their boxing...

The last fight was close. The weight won't help him. But saying that, I have a feeling Danny Williams will win somehow. I've never rated him, and always thought he was useless, but he does keep winning.

Even if Williams had weights strapped to him he still must be 20 stone plus. Unless he had an anvil taped to his leg!

Wow, was that was a poor fight. You can't deny Skelton his moment of glory, but I thought the ring was going to collapse when he started "boxing" (jumping up and down about a foot in the air and throwing dummy shots at the lights, nifty skills, Matt). Williams was dire and should quit. Just make it stop. Shocking television.

I quite enjoyed the fight - it was engrossing rather than exciting. Mind you, going to the pub first and DVDing the fight may have helped.

Skelton changed his tactics from last time and it paid off - I thought this was an interesting move on his part.

For what it's worth I had Skelton winning by one or two rounds. I thought 3 or 4 rounds were even though. I also thought Skelton was on the verge of throwing it away in the last third of the fight when his work rate dropped and he stopped showing as much lateral movement.

I'm glad Skelton won - Williams has had his chances at the top level, and I'd like to see Skelton have a bash at the top boys. Can't see him beating Valuev (unless he can stick to him and maul for 12 rounds) but I'd give him more of a chance against Rahman.

Finally, can't beleive I didn't take 5/6 on the fight to go more than 10.5 rounds. WTF was I thinking of.
