I like Mcdonnell but the truth is that he was exposed as a trainer when Danny fought Klitchenko and Mcdonnell totally lost control of the corner... the bottom line is that Danny eats far too much and has a serious weight issue... despite this he managed to sneak through against Audely and Skelton in their first fight but the chickens have come home to roost now... if Mcdonnell is unable to get Danny in decent shape then he should not be training him and Danny really shouldnt be fighting anymore, his heart and mind just arent in it anymore... he's really been just going through the motions since the Klitchenko fight, which I think really took away any desire for boxing that he had up to then....

Here Here Silkov,

Although I think it might be a case where he thought mentally he had achieved his ultimate goal when he beat Tyson - cause he was overweight with poor movement from vs Klitchsko.

Danny says he likes Kiplings and other junk like Pizza, so he must go through boxes od them a week and must eat full whole pizza's each time he eats them then!

I've pigged out and never though weight on that fast!

Riiiight Jim, that explains it. Better have a third fight in that case. Then when Danny lumbers in at 22stone, we'll hear that he had his best EVER training camp, but unknown to you, took outside advise in the last 2 weeks and downed 6 boxes of kiplin cakes per day as part of an experiment to sweeten his skills.

Did anyone else read the article in the last Boxing News where Danny met some kids from a local amateur club while he was... ahem... training up north?

He paid for them all to enjoy a binge at McDonalds. Nice one Danny.

Who better to give nutrional advice to young impressionable athletes than a British boxing champion.

Then again he's probably got an account with millions of loyalty points.

I think Williams is lazy turd, but if the trainer cant get him motivated he should just call it a day. Hang on, I've got the perfect solution! Why doesnt he just dress up as a giant hamburger and I bet Danny would be down the road qucker than jackflash, or even better still get dressed as the mcdonalds clown, with a bag full of burgers, bet you Danny would catch him though.
