In doing my research I never relied on anything dad said or wrote except to lead me to additional, hopefully objective, sources. But being LL's son has often resembled the movie Big Fish, where I knew to take his stories with a grain of salt. Actually researching his life has taught me that there was a great deal of truth to the stories he told.

As for the comment, "all we can find are losses lol," that's nothing more than an argument of ignorance: the implication that because something hasn't been found must automatically mean its false.

paricularly if they had to ride on ( or under) trains just to get around to find some type of a job available.

ya it's almost like nothing actually fits with the tank commander's romantic self inflation as a 51-8 boxer, what little evidence can be found is of him losing. oh well, a relative posted a few times, maybe it's true

Maybe if he was really sinewy looking, that would be a great clue.
