I suspect you are right. I think Froch might have to work for this one, but I think it hinges on his superior firepower winning the day.

Carl's got a lot of bottle as well. He hasn't had things all his own way and has always managed to come up with an answer when he's needed it most.....even with broken bones. So far, he's come through some rough patches and still produces the win. A mark a champion.

Yep, he seems to carry a shot pretty well too, and doesn't look too panicked when he gets hit. If anything he's a bit too calm under fire, seems to just take the shots and carry on firing, which in the long run could be his undoing.

jamesmcdonnell, Yeah I agree with you about him being a bit too relaxed soaking up the big punches. On the plus side he takes them well as you mention, but I do get a bit fidgety when he calmly lets the heavy ones bounce off of him. I 'm sincerely hoping Froch has the intelligence to know what level he can get away with it at.

Howcome Froch's not defending his Commonwealth title too?

Do you have to pay commonwealf sanctioning fees if so doesn't make sence to fight for it when the quality of the fight speaks for its self.

Doesn't every title have sanction fees?

True though this is going to be a quality fight and a scouse victory. :TU:
