It will be exciting either way. Hide against Hobson/Macca/Haye would all be great fights. Hide is pure entertainment, even though he is a twat I welcome any of his fights happening in the UK. He is up there with the most controversial boxers of this country I think.

Why even talk about him?
He is shot to bits and yesterday's news. The Old Herbie was/could have been an excellent fighter but he's a complete nut job and his own worst enemy. As for taking Klitschko and Bowes shots, he didn't did he? Also rumour has it both Nigel Benn and Eamonn Loughran done him in the Old Barry Hearn Gym when he (Herbie) was in his prime.
Are you forgetting his fight in Newcastle. He's gone and despite your nostaligia trips, he ain't coming back.
And remember, he can't come back here as he has numerous warrants out on him for old cases he failed to appear for.
Look up 'lunatic' in your dictionary and you will see Herbie's picture next to it.

Mentalist! Some funny quotes tho. Him against Haye would be a lot of fun. I'd fancy Haye big time to be honest but you couldn't take your eyes off it.

For as long as it lasted, but I think Haye would land first, and then it would be all over. Herbie has a simply abysmal chin, and Haye to his credit, took a right fekking hammering from Thompson before he was stopped. I know Haye hasn't got the greatest set of whiskers, but I reckon he's got a better set than Herbie whose chin is an insult to porcelain manufacturers.

Until Herbie gets knocked out by a cruiser i'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
David Haye has been stopped by less than Herbie Hide, you all conveniently forget. I would bet on Herbie landing first.

Herbie has been knocked over by shots that barely seemed to touch him though. Carl Thompson is a big puncher at Cruiserweight, and Haye stood there taking a right pasting and wasn't knocked out. Herbie was felled by shots that had as much sting as a vinegar spillage.

for once i agree with you.
All this talk is pointless he wont come back to the UK and not because of the police, more the oppostie in fact. H epissed some serious people off over here before he jumped ship to Canada via Nigeria, and they havent forgotten.
