MERC why dont you direct your complaint at Boxrec themselves and stop hurling insults at the British forum in general. No one that posts here gives a toss whether John Duddy is classed as British or Irish. No one on here is claiming the guy as theirs. This is a boxing forum not a political forum.MERC wrote:J I have an idea... why don't you just keep posting with no argument at all... brilliant. Just keep the insults coming making urself look like an ass while I keep proving my point ya dumb brit
Now in the wise words of a few, just fornicate OFF.
you are obviously too stupid dear boy to understand the longer words.MERC wrote:J I have an idea... why don't you just keep posting with no argument at all... brilliant. Just keep the insults coming making urself look like an ass while I keep proving my point ya dumb brit
you manner doesnt deserve a reasoned reply as you arent supplying one yourself.
"Other than John Duddy is Irish and if you dont agree you can fornicate off."
go figure cock head.
nothing further.
haha I havent supplied a reason... hows this for a reason you ass, "Clan Duddy, which is the management team of John Duddy, contacted BoxRec to inform the website of the correct details Duddy's nationality however BoxRec still refused to alter Duddy's nationality" Reason enough for you?you are obviously too stupid dear boy to understand the longer words.

fornicate me. Old Merc clearly came here fishing (fully armed with anti-boxrec quotes) and you boys are biting like there's no tomorrow. Who gives a toss about Duddy? He's vastly over-rated (thanks to the US' wannabe Irish community) and will almost certainly get exposed as soon as he's in with anything approaching world class.
Perhaps Boxrec could change his nationality to 'Irish' as soon as he loses... now that would be very funny

Even funnier is the fact he's not actually that good... go figure why anyone would 'want' him.MERC wrote:J you wanna know whats really funny, before Duddy became exposed with a number of knockout wins he was listed as IRISH, after he built his record I guess he was magically reborn as a BRIT... GO FIGURE!!!! please J keep trying bro...

Going nowhere? That is a quintessentially Irish move.
The guy is going nowhere.
What is a fcucker? Anyway, you clearly want him to be Irish or you wouldn't be arguing the point. If nationality were a matter of choice then the world would have 3 billion Englishmen, wouldn't it!MERC wrote:Its not a matter of who wants him more you stupid mother fcucker... As we know, people born in Northern Ireland are entitled to either a British or Irish passport. As Duddy seems to have clearly stated that his preference is to be deemed Irish, boxrec and other record keepers should honour his decision, for reasons of political sensitivity if no other.
Ostensibly I feel MERC has a point (somewhere in his insulting, ill thought out posts) but his attitude and clear lack of tact means he will get nowhere on here and I for one hope Duddy’s nationality goes unchanged on this site as it will infuriate a yankie loser like MERC no end.
Duddy, his team, family etc are more then aware of his nationality. I would have more sympathy for him (MERC) but he is clearly about as Oirish as 99% of septic tanks. (ie not at all).

If Duddy was British he probably wouldnt be the best British middleweight.
Lads lets not make any Irish are stupid stereotypes based on the fact Merc manages to live upto them.
Merc where are you from anyway and are you over 18?

Well actually you are wrong about Duddy's nationality, just look at some quotes from the man himself. But like you say, it's really not that important and I doubt that he really gives a toss what is printed on Boxrec.com.livingstone cole wrote:It seems that Merc is just someone coming here to wind people up. He also comes across as a twat. Duddy is from NI and hence British. Who cares really?
