I'm not quite sure why that came about. He considers himself a welter - he only fought at 154 because Rob Burton couldn't make the weight.

Hatton is a two weight Area champ...both against Rob Burton!

So Bosworth is now a mandatory for Kevin Anderson?

Seem to remember there were two eliminators called...though I might be getting mixed up.
As I hoped, Matthew seems to want to just learn from it and move on:

Did anyone catch this again on TV last night? Looking at it again, i accept that the ref was well within his rights but i still feel it was a little bit harsh.
Matt himself didn't seem to actually put up much of an argument which is fair enough.
I've got to say though (even though i accept Matt's no better than domestic class) that Bosworth looks a bit stupid saying he's living off Ricky's name when his face looked like it had been hit by a shovel. Matt is not 'shit' which is what tends to get banded about message boards, he's just nowhere near as good as his brother. He's obviously a level above the journeyman fighters that always seem to get shown a lot of respect on here (and quite rightly so).

When and on which channel was this shown, G-Man?
I think Matthew has improved a lot over the last three years. Could win a British title if the cards fall right.

So was it still an official British Title eliminator?

Oh yeah, sorry dude - it was on
Seconds Out on ChannelM (SKY channel 203) last night. It's repeated tonight at 8.30pm and i think a couple more times over the weekend if you look at your listings.
Showed highlights from 4 or 5 rounds of the fight plus all the controversial parts and then had interviews with both fighters after aswell as Billy Graham keeping the *BLEEPER* man busy on a 7pm slot show.

I have Telewest so don't get this channel (or ESPN Classic, or seemingly loads of others) and neither do I get the interactive services for football, etc which I just assumed would be available. Same fecking price though.
Whadamistakatamaka.
It's coming out when the contract's up...

Bummer - there's been some good stuff on ESPN too.

They could do with putting it on earlier but the Archie Moore show and some of the others were worth staying awake for

Yeah, some of it has been on at unsociable hours. I have Sky+ so just stick it on that. Have you noticed there's been a disproportionate amount of George Foreman stuff on there? They'll be showing how they make his grill next.

To be honest i've only just got it but now i have i'm not sure how i ever lived without it - it's a godsend.
I need a DVD recorder now though to copy all the fights that will be inevitably saved.

Now I have to duke it out with her over America's Next Top Model (to be fair that show is alright)
Stand in the corner and think about what you just said.
She is still refusing to pay half so imagine the bill I'd get for Sky+ or moving up to HD
You don't actually pay any extra a month for SKY+, just a one off for the box. I wasn't really contemplating it until my 'normal' SKY box broke. I rang them up and they said it was 50 quid for a new box or i could pay for someone to repair it (which i reckoned would still cost a fair bit just for call out fees etc.), so i plumped for the extra 50 quid to upgrade to SKY+ which was 99 quid for the box.
I've got a proper good deal at the minute. I was paying 44 quid for the full package once upon a time then they halved it to 22 for being a valued customer after a few years and now they've slashed it in half again to 11 quid for six months - jobs a good 'un.
