Well if we are honest about it, it wouldn't take a Casamayor or Dias to prove that point. As I posted before the guy lacks a spark that backs up his physical presence at this weight. He is going through the motions in a one dimensional fashion that was already exposed last night.
I wish him well and hope he gets a few paydays before the inevitable happens. In this game you can not afford to blow hot, cold or indifferent.

I had Ramirez edging it....just. Not a bad decision at all though IMO.
I think this fight highlights the need to reward boxers for winning rounds clearly with more liberal use of the 10 point must system.
Rameriz won some of the rounds beyond dispute but probably not by 10-8. Where as Earl tended to win the rounds closely by just working away without really catching the eye.
Earl needs to show improvement to move forwards from here.
