Really, Razor, what good things has Tyson done?
He has biten ears and fouled several fighters, gaining the dirtiest fighter award beyond anyone else including Golota..... ah, yes, he has been to jail for molesting a woman.... he has brawled in night clubs and hotel lobbies... wrapped his car around trees... let us not forget his comments to other fighters about killing them etc.... he has tatooed his body with the images of mass murderers- Mao and Che.... he has made millions and blown every cent, owing money to the IRS.... He dishonored Cus D'amato, turned back on all his friends and... well, I could go on and on and on.... Has there ever been a heavyweight champion like him? No sir, no one has matched him in crudeness, vulgarity, lack of common sense and masochistic, self destructive panache...
Well, hell, sounds like a great role model to me. I'm sure he has been a sterling example to boys like Jeffrey Dahmer, budding maoists and all sorts of future generations of morons and imbeciles.

Exactly, I find it hard to believe the amount of people still ready to worship the rusty one, when you compare this to the outright hostility metered out to Liston its very puzzling indeed, I'm not saying Sonny was an angel but I certainly find him a more sympathetic character to Tyson (not to mention a better fighter) Tysons had so many breaks and second chances while Liston never got any, ...even when he won the title he was onto a loser and he knew it....enrique wrote:Really, Razor, what good things has Tyson done?
