bollox wrote:Hospitals are horrendous placed these days. About a decade ago the state government here decided to sell all of our assets and part of the health system care was sold off. Today hospitals are nothing more than than just another profit producing industry. A few years ago I fractured 4 vertebrae and the doctors sent me home after 3 days in there "we're hoping they'll heal by themselves". They didn't heal themselves and a few days later I was back in having a major op. What ar*eholes

Oh yes, don't ever have an argument with a nurse if you have a catheter (a tube in your co*k). She's liable to rip it out. Trust me on this one, I know this from experience
I had a similar situation, yours reminds me of.
I had a fusion done in my neck c5 - c6 fused together with a bone from my hip and held tight forever with a clamp and four screws. They came through my throat to do the surgery. A disc had herniated right into the spinal cord and had to be removed .
Originaly they told me I had M.S.
Anyway the day after the surgery I said I want out of the hospital.
Nobody wanted me to leave but the doctor/surgeon challanged me and said if I could walk I could go.
I struggled out of that bed and made it down the hall.
I held up my end of the deal so the doctor said I could leave.
The nurse brought the wheel chair to pick me up to take me downstairs (rules) anyway it looked good I was out. .
Anyway as she was rolling me down the hall, the nurse walked the chair accidently right into the elavator door almost knocking me to the floor.
I think my yell of pain was heard a block away. My wife wanted to knock her out.
Sometimes the cure is worse then the disease.
Get well soon Dec. :box:

OK Decagon that's enough exertion...my guess is your having to hold back some laughs and that's not healthy for a man in your condition. Perhaps reading more serious contributions like those of Rocky50Project or Kovit would be a better choice....at least until your futher along in the healing process.

Decagon: good luck man. I wouldn't wish infirmity on anyone, especially not to the degree you've just had to undergo.

DoubleM: Reading comprehension skills a little sub-par, are they? Fvcktard.

Hey Decagon based on your responses I'm thinking they got the "speed" mixed up with the pain drugs. Where did you get the energy? You got a laptop on your hospital bed? Or do you have a nurse taking some kind of dicktation?

I bet you do!!! Considering that Hitler was a closet-fag I bet you have fantasies about giving him a reach-around...or maybe dressing up in some of his dresses. The biggest coward of all-time, Hitler, was also a fag...go figure!

Dec---Like I told you a while back...pain killer is the absolute worst drug that I have ever used...addiction-wise. Aside from crystal meth, opiates are absolutely the worst. Percocet is oxycodone, whereas Vicodin is hydrocodone. It goes a little like this...Darvocet, Tylenol 3 w/codeine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, oxys, morphine/dilaudid, fentanyl.

Percocet has acetaminophen and oxycodone, Percodan has aspirin and oxycodone...oxycontin is pure oxycodone...in a control released form, but remove the outer control-released coating on the pills and you have pure oxycodone rush...best rush from needles! It's a nightmare of a drug for those addicted, the next step up is morphine/didlaudid and then heroin, but they all have the exact same kind of withdrawal effects and it is complete misery...brutal is the best description!

Dec, all the best for a speedy recovery ... I spent all of last Fall recovering from having both legs shattered in a serious car accident - big-time suckage.

I recommend watching reruns of "Scrubs" (great show) to help you pass the time.

Oh, and to compare that DoubleDildo dude to Hitler is an insult ... to Hitler. Ignore him, and hopefully he'll dry up and go away ... which is more than you can say for his acne.

That's good to hear...as I have said...I have been through the absolute worst of opiate addiction and I would not wish it on my worst enemy...it so easily destroys lives, which I have seen many, many instances of it, including going through it myself and it has taken six years for me to get a hold on it....I've fell off the wagon a couple of times since then, but thank God I picked myself back up and crawled back on, but it's one of the absolute worst plagues on humanity that I have ever seen!

Yah, it sucked pretty hard. I might post a pic if I can find a scanner (my brother-in-law took pics with an analog camera), and y'all don't mind a little gore - it is Halloween, after all. ;)
