They will proably focus on the fact he's gone 8 rounds in his last few fights as a reason for picking himbut Khan will proably beat him in about 4 rounds
Not as if he's headlining though is it.Top Dog wrote:, the folk who go and see him are mugs, sorry guys. I wouldn't go and see him fighting this calibre of opponent if I got in for nowt.
8 oz n ot 10 oz, you know your onions don't you?J-C wrote:One thing I have noticed is the Reebok gloves they use for Khan's bouts look pretty big. Obviously they'll be the standard 10oz but as we all know different brands of glove vary i.e. Reyes better for punchers than Everlast. Probably nothing, just something I'd noticed.
Warren's choice of opponents does make you wonder, even if you're trying to protect your fighter surely it can help to keep feeding him fighters with no punch.
Ah right sorry 8oz, it's 10 oz in the amatures, boxingchat wrote:8 oz n ot 10 oz, you know your onions don't you?J-C wrote:One thing I have noticed is the Reebok gloves they use for Khan's bouts look pretty big. Is Britain in Nevada?Max Molyneux wrote:Does Nevada rules apply to the BBB O ?
He can't fight for the British title until he is 21 - ridiculous rule which needs to be changed. Not sure if its the same for the Commonwealth? Anyone know??glahn wrote:Oh dear. Khan's career is starting to turn into a joke. He should be at least fighting for the British or Commonwealth title by this point. They could even put him in against someone like Willy Blain if they don't want him to face big punchers. Knocking out bums like this is completely useless for his development.
No, but I'd like to. If Khan's elligible, I think the Comm title would be Warren's first plan for him title-wise. Would he have the beating of Limmond in 6-8 months time? I'd say yesnickd wrote:He can't fight for the British title until he is 21 - ridiculous rule which needs to be changed. Not sure if its the same for the Commonwealth?
