Urango is technicaly unbeaten. We all know about Rabah, but no one's ever matched him in an aggressive way. 'Unbeaten', holding a world title, fit, strong with a hard punch - these elements can lift Urango. I don't know hoow good he can be, but he doesn't look easy to discourage.

We all thought that Sam Peter couldn't do anything except flail...

Sam Peter also lost to Klitschko, not to the likes of a Ben Rabah level fighter. Urango got beaten by Ben Rabah and got the hometown decision. It's a fvcking joke he even has a title, and the fact people wonder if Hatton will win is an even bigger joke.

Sure, but Urango had big problems touching Rabah, who flicked and moved. I wish HBO would approve Mbaye and Witter - how about a unification? - but they prefer the Urangos, Lazcanos and probably Torres'.

It's a shame they turned down M'baye, a realy slick and entertaining boxer, but approved the difficult Collazo who made Hatton look bad.

I think Urango will find Hatton easier to find, he could raise his game, and at the very least represents a physical threat. Not the ideal foe (or maybe he IS ideal for team Hatton)

I can't see Warren putting M'Baye in with Witter. Ditto Hatton. Neither would want to fight on a Warren promotion either.

Hatton just looks old, no doubt the effects of all this weight hopping. He'll still be in mint condition I expect. Having said that its quite possible that gaining 7lbs of muscle for Collazo and then losing it could have weakened him. We'll find out in 11 days time!

He should have had time to recupurate from the Collazo weight hoping - but that is the first time I have seen him look guant before the fight. Alarmingly, Hatton's nutritionalist has spoken out and is worried that Hatton have overdone it. I thought it was just a bit of PR - but he looks smaller than I have ever seen him for any weigh in.

At least his eyes look sharp and alert. Roy Jones looked like he wanted to kip.

Looks starved doesn't he, and his right eye looks a bit marked up already.

Urango looks like a pin head: small target, Hatton better go for the body :TU:

Then why would you want to see hatton beaten by urango wouldn't it be better if him and pbf win and maybe somewhere down the line they will fight!!

I'm not the biggest PBF fan because of his fighting style...hit and run isn't exciting to watch!! But i'd never wish him to get his ass kicked i want to see him improve and stand and trade and show what a great fighter he is...afterall he has some great names to his list of wins! just not many exciting fights!

Then when and if they do meet...let the rumble begin!!! :D :D

Cotto so far is an outstanding fighter no arguements there!

Rickay has no intentions of fighting PBF or Cotto...Billy & chuckle Brother Ray only talk the talk for P.R.....the only way on Earth Hatton gets in the ring with either one of them is in his last "cash out" fight and then he'll be thinking more about the money and Rays pention than winning.

I think Rickay made sheet in his pants at ringside when PBF nearly murdered Gatti.

You're forgetting, it was only Gatti. Was Floyd shitting in his pants when Hatton beat Tszyu? Ironically, Tszyu is the ONE fighter that Floyd has ever had a good word to say for - between the 130, 135, 140 and 147 divisions. While Tszyu was a top 2 p4p'er, Floyd sadly wasn't doing too much.

So Floyd is slick and Floyd is American and Floyd is a legit Hall of Famer. Abf Floyd is super talented, but Floyd's last 2 'super fights' weren't quite super, were they? He's also a bloated super feather who has chosen his foes carefully above lightweight.

Yeh it was "only" Gatti...the same Gatti Fatton was sitting ringside watching, hoping, praying he wouldn't get beat up too bad so he could set up a Pay-Per-Crap event and milk his fanatics a little more...well Floyd threw a spanner in that 1.
And your pathetic argument about Floyd "not wanting" Zoo is weak seeing as he has made the DLH fight happen....could you ever see The $hitman making a fight with DLH?....NO i thought not!

BTW, Your "bloated" reference to PBF makes you sound like a complete tool, Fatton is the bloated 1 who got chased out of a 7lb higher weight class even though he walks around at 14 stone, Floyd is a true pro that is ALWAYS in tip-top shape and never looks to be carrying anything extra even though he is now fighting above his natural weight class.

It says In Boxing Monthly he got his build from selling rocks to local building sites, from which he fished out of Columbian rivers.
What a load of old bollocks! Sounds like something his PR team dreamed up.

hahahaha - because of PBF-DLH that means Floyd was chasing Tszyu for years I suppose!

Tszyu was considered an undisputed champion (even tho Gatti got the WBC after it was stripped from Tszyu, injured) At least Hatton wanted Tszyu and then a cash in vs Gatti. Mayweather wanted the cash in and was so happy he started bawling like a baby.

Wasn't Tszyu going to knock Hatton through the canvas, over the top rope, into semiconsciousness?...Wasn't he the best fighter to come to britain since Hagler/McCallum/Curry/Brian Mitchell/Azumah Nelson?

Now it is taken for granted for the simple fact that Hatton ground him down. Gatti does not equal Tszyu, nor does Mayweather's best win since 02, Judah (who was TKO'd by tszyu in 2 rds). Nor does Mayweather's best ever opponent, Castillo, for that matter (though Mayweather's 98-02 comp cannot be fauted).

Why do you think he wants DLH? To secure his legacy? Not quite - he wants his career biggest payday. Mayweather is one of the biggest materialists in boxing and he was so overjoyed about DLH that he when he signed the contract, he didn't even know what weight it was going to be at.

And Floyd has piled on a lot of pounds. He doesn't feel comfortable under pressure, even less so up at light welter and welter, where he can't move as well. Peerless pressure does not equal Baldomir, no matter how you want to dress it up (Lineal title, biggest ever opponent, wank wank wank)

who did Floyd pick for his 1st welter opponent? Faded Mitchell (another Tszyu leftover like Judah)!

Mayweather fans get so defensive, I guess their temperaments match their hero's ring style.

Yes, Floyd is unlikely to stand and trade with anyone above 140 lbs. He could have stayed in one division and tried to dominate, but I suspect the difficulties he had with Castillo deterred him from doing so. The Baldomir fight really stank, which is a shame, because Floyd looked sensational against Gatti.

Now floyd is moving up even further to 154, where to prevail against any of the fighters there, he will have to be even more negative. Can you imagine the beating he would have taken from Winky Wright at 154?

I really think Floyd's making a big mistake fighting so high, he's a natural 140 lber by now, no more than that.

I can only wonder what his career could have been like had he moved to 140 and stayed there.

He never looks great when he's 'dry' near a fight but there's some pics of him on his site training at Wayne McCullough's gym and he looks in cracking shape doing 12 rounds of sparring with Donald Camarena.

It's impressive just how chiselled his face looks with so long to go before the fight. He's a pale skinned lad, and he's always going to look ill this time of year, much the same as I do, but it's obvious he's had a long hard training camp. Let's just hope he's not overtrained for this one, that's my only concern, he must already be very near his fighting weight, and won't want to burn out.

Terence wrote:I used to love watching Floyd, the Gatti fight was the peak of his defensive ability to stay close, avoid shots and do damage but since then he has seemed reluctant to do anything but peck and move.

Against Mitchell he showed a nice right hand to the body and I thought that was a shot which would give Hatton a lot of problems balance-wise if they fought. He used it effectively against Judah but since getting dropped, not called, in that fight he has crossed the line into extreme negativity in order to creep into P4P all-time status.

Floyd fans will go crazy and tell me he is fighting bigger guys and all that but that is his choice, he did not out-grow any division, he just never fancied dominating a division in recent years.

A Floyd fan Called Matty something or other complained that Floyd had a sore mitt in the Baldo fight but he was negative from the get-go.

Moving is good when you do it the way Hopknis did versus Tito, not so good when you do what Hopkins did versus a terrible Howard Eastman.
Floyd was relatively aggressive vs Corley and Mitchell, but I noticed he got stung maybe 3 or 4 times by southpaw lefts. His attitude has definitely changed, I agree.

It seems that to be a pound for pound number one, it helps if you are a) negative, b) move, move and move some more, even if there's little coming back, c) try your best not to take one single shot/risk, d) be an abrasive American. I really think Pac has taken over the #1 spot, by far, as opposed to "catching up" as Ring magazine would have it.

:TU: Touche. So right - MAyweather's fans seem to mirror his dislikeable, arrogant, petulant personality.

None of them can enter into a reasonable discussion it's all exgerrated claims and insults.

I think Floyd knows he cannot afford to stand and fight against a genuine 147 lber. Baldomir, though not a puncher, could probably have put him on queer street had he landed a flush shot, so Floyd chose to pick and poke all night long.

I hope that DLH manages to catch up with Floyd when they fight, otherwise we could be in for a long and very boring night, with Floyd fighting extremely negatively whether he wins or loses. One thing Floyd won't want is to get knocked out by Oscar.
