I would imagine that if someone upset Benn and The Dark Destroyer got that look in his eyes he would be an absolute nightmare on the cobbles, a real GBH machine.

Roy would have had to kill Nigel to keep him from coming at him. That's the difference between the two in a street fight. Nigel would go at all cost. I doubt Roy would.

When Benn was living in LA he went to the gym where Toney trained, six weeks before the Jones fight, and shouted "Come on you fat bastard, let's do a few rounds. I'll get you in shape!" and James just told his entourage to get Benn out and Nigel was told in no uncertain terms that he'd be shot if he showed again. Benn wanted to spar with Toney, said he'd be back when James was ready but James apparently didn't want to know.

And Benn had turned up at the post-fight press conference after the Prince Charles Williams fight only to find that security had been informed not to let him in..

Benn said he'd fight Toney in the car park and love every second of it. He also said in '93 when he was living in Britain that he was willing to swim across the Atlantic to fight him, after Toney had reportedly said "Nigel Benn's Momma is the Loch Ness Monster!"

someone once stole benns suitcase at heathrow or somewhere...... and nige chased them and caught up with them...

luckily for the thieveing fornicator, nige was happy just to settle for the head lock !!

Steve Collins 'door stepped' Roy Jones during the post fight interview at one of his fights (cant remember which) and asked for a fight to be made but this is fairly common practise when trying to build interest in a fight.

Just to confirm then, "doorstepping" is where he crashed an interview - not where he actually went to his door step!!??!

Can you only 'Doorstep' a post fight interview if you have the same management? Or could Witter doorstep the Castillo fight?
