A close fight, but I think Cerdan was too strong for Hagler... He only lost to LaMotta because of a freak injury to his shoulder.
Cerdan really only lost two fights of well over 100 fights in reality... He lost by DQ to 2 guys he was beating easily and he lost 1 fight on points.. He suffered a very bad shoulder injury vs LaMotta which was his last fight. He died in an airplane crash prior to his rematch date with LaMotta.
