From what I'm aware of you athletes rarely get paid for sponsoring supplement companies and I'm pretty sure Takaloo will have made nothing from endorsing products. Clinton Woods doesn't make anything and only gets free supplements and hes a genuine world champ. Does Takaloo endorse Maximuscle? I think they only give free sups away too.

This country is fucked up bigtime. Not wanting to start a row here or cast conertations over any minorities but it seems the system hands out more to people who come over here from other countries than to its own people born and bred here. WHAT A fornicating DISGRACE!!

Providing he can pay the lot back plus interest he may stay out of jail, if found guilty of course. You'd have to be a complete moron to claim benefits while boxing regularly on tv.

Takaloo is a naturalised British citizen, and has been for some time now.

It's not that Takaloo was entitled to any more than anyone else, but that he allegedly claimed more than he was entitled to.

Nobody has been found guilty yet, though the benefits office seem to rarely get it wrong.

I wonder if this cloud hanging over his head will hamper his training for the Jennings bout?

As I said wasn't casting conertations over anyone but just making remarks about the system. Look at the Hamza pudendum he has bled the country dry. The average Brit who'd payed taxes all his life would never get that sort of handout.

Loopholes in the benefits system are definitely being fraudulently exploited in this country bigtime, and the area of spousal relationships and housing benefits is the biggest loophole of all.

I have heard of unmarried couples that claim no relationship other than that of landlord/tenant, but they are together. The landlord part of the relationship has another address (false or otherwise) and the unemployed so called tenant then claims housing benefit on the house/flat that then pays off the mortgage.

I don’t know if this is similar to the allegations facing Takaloo (he appears to be married for starters), but I bet similar loopholes are being more widespreadly milked than you would at first think.

As Nick says it is an absolute disgrace.
