Nah, I thought Earl was doing well pacing himself and when Kat pushed him towards the ropes he was landing those hooks on Kat well.

Kat was strong but I thought he was tiring and over pacing himself.

I like Graham, but Johnny Eames did the right thing there, most of the big shots were landing on his head.

I think the fight was quite one sided to be honest. Very entertaining and Earl retained that outside punchers chances until the end but Katswhathisface looked immensely much more powerful in there.

mostly? yes i agree, but around half of them landed on target, in the abscence of another replay (should have taped the fight) i have to go on the gut feeling i had at the time, which was that he was lucky to escape the ref coming in. But then Vann was sharp for him in some ways, the questionable low blow (im not disputing the other) and ignoring the towel (even though he does not have to acknowledge it, with earl in trouble later on in the fight, the intent was clear).

If earl did not rely on covering up too much, he would have got teed off on even more. Katsidis has more power in general than earl, i think thats been proven, unless we say they have equal power but unequal chin, but then earl would have more ko's. I think Katsidis is the bigger banger. The problem with earls fight (as his corner told him) was that he was shipping too many powerful punches, he was right in front of katsidis and suffered for it, he gave katsidis the opputunity to win. Earls training must have included a strategy for boxing on the move, but he seemed to get into exchanges on the ropes and in the corners, and while hee was countering, katsidis was having a big effect on him, 3 KD's testify to that.

Anyone remember the ( i think it was the elder Corcoran) fight, few weeks ago? he took a big pummelling, loads of unanswered shots, he had not sooner stared an return flurry when the ref jumped in and stopped it in his favour, giving the other fighter no chance. We have all seen fighters lose quicker than that coming under such pressure. Im not accusing anyone of anything, but its an inconsistency, and i dont like my judgement being scrutinised when these inconsistencies mean almost any opinion on a stoppage, foul or fight is allowable

100% certian it's been pulled because of the uncertainty of start times and nothing else. When Hatton used to box on big SN bills I used to have it right off knowing the results while markets where still up. Bought a new fitted kitchen after getting 16/1 and 25s on Skelton to beat McDermott in the first a while back. Always pays to keep an eye out. Am up to my conkers on Katsidis tonight.

Exactly what I thought (sorry writing after the event) - stuck £150 AT evens on Kat to win and £50 Kat by KO at 12/5. Feeling good this morning.

Even had tenner on Sprott to win at 6.6 decimal (thought lost a £15 on the SPrott points win at 10-1.)
