I am not saying that you Englishmen are corrupt. No way at all. It just seems like to me that all that loud singing of the crowd like it gives a great confidence and strenght to the local fighter. I do not see that no where else in the world. It is very tough to win for a foreign fighter in those conditions in my view.

fair enough mate, its just what we do, Agincourt, the Blitz, football - we all clump together and have a sing-song, its part of the national character.

Ever seen a Chavez fight in Mexico, or a Trinidad fight in Puerto Rico against foreign opposition.....?

I have seen fights on tv from Mexico and Puerto Rico, and it is not compared to England in crowd noise and encouraging a fighter at all!!!

It was measured that premiership footballers have higher levels of testosterone when playing at home than away. The same could be said of boxers. There's been no study but it seems a fair assumption...
If this is so should boxing history be looked at in a different way so as to factor in how many great US fighters never (or rarely) fought abroad???
