No. Holyfield is not a drug cheat.

There are plenty of legal supplements that one can take (for starters).....additionally Holyfield was tested and tested throughout his career......and that as he has aged and wanted to stay in this sport (foolish or not)....the notion of taking differing supplements (that aren't illegal) but often get perscribed by doctors is nothing that unusual.

There are very few to none....Top tier guys today in boxing (or most sports) who are not taking some types of supplements....

You must have had quite close contact with Billygoat Holyfield to know all this.

Holyfield's build, which does not fit his bone structure, is a steroid build.

Anyone who well remembers Holyfield just out of the '84 olympics has to come to the conclusion that you he didn't become that muscular without a bit of help. During the earlier part of his HW career he employed a ballet dancer to help keep him supple, such was the bulk of muscle he was carrying around

I thought of the Leonard - Hearns II fight and the "maaan, you're huge" comment from Hearns. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was true

None of these things matter during the fight ie steroids do not enhance performace. This was the point I was trying to make

Did you see Tyson's physique in the second Holyfield fight? What about Lewis in the second Holyfield fight?

Are some of you really that naive? A list of of professional heavyweight boxers that don't use supplements would be a very small list...at the higher level, such a list is nonexistant.

What is the evidence that Holyfield took steroids?

Most top athletes have at some time taken illegal measures to gain the advantage...just some are better at doing it than others.

Evander is one of the best ever, if he did take steroids then that alone did not make him all what he was, he was nearly always the smaller man at heavyweight yet prevailed.

And the flip side is how some cheat to get down in weight...how does anybody weigh in a stone heavier by fight time?

I've always taken it for granted that Holyfield and Lewis were on the juice. As long is there is no testing in the offseason, nearly every boxer will take illegal substances.
