You must have had quite close contact with Billygoat Holyfield to know all this.meade95 wrote:No. Holyfield is not a drug cheat.
There are plenty of legal supplements that one can take (for starters).....additionally Holyfield was tested and tested throughout his career......and that as he has aged and wanted to stay in this sport (foolish or not)....the notion of taking differing supplements (that aren't illegal) but often get perscribed by doctors is nothing that unusual.
There are very few to none....Top tier guys today in boxing (or most sports) who are not taking some types of supplements....
You will have to check with Bill Clinton on that.Jaclem wrote:..re: the question as posted.....that all depends on what your definition of "is" is.....
His nose looks the way it does from alcohol. Look at Teddy Kennedy its the same thing. It takes decades of abuse to get that effect.granberry wrote:You will have to check with Bill Clinton on that.Jaclem wrote:..re: the question as posted.....that all depends on what your definition of "is" is.....
From the sound of his voice, which reveals a totally burned out throat and nasal passages, and his nose, which appears to be rotting off on the outside,
I would say Bill has a long, long history taking some kind of substances.
So was Tommy Morrison and he was never caught.meade95 wrote:additionally Holyfield was tested and tested throughout his career
Such complete and utter BS! Just laughable.granberry wrote:Holyfield's build, which does not fit his bone structure, is a steroid build.
Holyfield obvously took steriods. One glance at him tells me that.meade95 wrote:Such complete and utter BS! Just laughable.granberry wrote:Holyfield's build, which does not fit his bone structure, is a steroid build.
Holyfield did not take steroids. Every athlete in the world name would come up regarding the taking of supplements if every doctors office records were released.
Did he take supplements. Without a doubt. Every major athlete of the last 20 years has (and even before that). Was Holyfield taking Steroids......no.
Sure. And I suppose Lee Haney was just employed by his camp to offer nutritional tips.meade95 wrote: Holyfield did not take steroids.
Tommy Hearns accused Leonard of taking steroids, at the time of their second fight.ebeneezer wrote:Sure. And I suppose Lee Haney was just employed by his camp to offer nutritional tips.meade95 wrote: Holyfield did not take steroids.
Did you see Evander's physique in the second Tyson fight? I'm sure he swelled out like that by simply eating right and going to the gym
Clinton is a cocaine boy. He is the only US president to refuse to release his medical records.Sir Psycho Sexy wrote:His nose looks the way it does from alcohol. Looking at Leonard in that fight I wondered that myself. I'v never heard anyone else mention it up until now.granberry wrote:Tommy Hearns accused Leonard of taking steroids, at the time of their second fight.ebeneezer wrote:Sure. I thought of the Leonard - Hearns II fight and the "maaan, you're huge" comment from Hearns. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was trueEzzard wrote:Looking at Leonard in that fight I wondered that myself. They help with a lot of things. They can improve strength, help recover from injury and make you train for longer.bollox wrote:
Having said that, it doesn't make him a cheat if he was using steroids - they don't help with anything in boxing
None of these things matter during the fight ie steroids do not enhance performace. This was the point I was trying to makeebeneezer wrote:They help with a lot of things. They can improve strength, help recover from injury and make you train for longer.bollox wrote:

If they didn't do anything for boxers then Roy Jones, Holyfield, Morrison and countless others wouldn't have taken them.
What are you jealous? Good for him. Cocaine is good.granberry wrote:Clinton is a cocaine boy. The totally burned out sinuses and throat equal longtime cocaine abuse.
His own brother said he soaked it up like a "vacuum cleaner."
What is the "considerable" evidence? Are there reliable people who have actually seen this happening?Decagon wrote:There's considerable evidence that he has been in the process of buying steroids. I've always taken it for granted that Holyfield and Lewis were on the juice. As long is there is no testing in the offseason, nearly every boxer will take illegal substances.
